Official Suggestion thread - help make EpicNPC a better marketplace

Not Recently Bumped
Just wanna make this known. You can apply for moderator without adding any information. I accidentally sent the application without any info. However, I was able to do another one which I did correctly.

I'd suggest having it meet a criteria before being able to be sent. Maybe must have over 100 characters ect

I'm sorry, we do not plan to make items movable to different threads.

When you create a sale thread and purchase items, that is to enhance that single thread. This change would result in members purchasing the longest term items and moving them from thread to thread.

The 30 day green title items are already very cheap $1.40 (no glow) and $2.80 (glow). If you were selling a single item and sold it, this is not much to pay.

What about if you allow just one movement? Short term thread enhancements aren't the issue. Main problem is when people purchase 12 months thread enhancement, than a month later something happens with that particular game and than 11 months of paid thread enhancement goes to waste.

Diablo 4 Boosting
when looking to buy sticky threads there is 5 sticky topics instead of 4
same bug as before again

I think an option to bump all of your threads at once would be useful. (not autobump or bump during cd). Even if paid such option would be massive QoL for some of us. I don't remember if I asked for this before.

This has been requested many times before. I don't believe I've ever said 'no' to it before, but it's just not something that will be a priority to get done. The main issue with adding a single button to bump all threads is that it would devalue our paid services.

Currently in the sidebar we have a indicator to show what threads can be bumped. A seller can then click each thread to manually bump them.

To avoid doing this, a member can use the auto-bump system to have it done automatically. If we add a 'bump all' button, that it will make the auto-bump system much less useful.

Maybe we can create the button, but make it available to upgraded (Epic Member) members only.

You can add it as a payment service (maybe subscription?) so that it doesn't devalue autobump. Autobump is buying bumps in bulk since it lasts 10 days and it can bump your threads 4 times per day. We are talking about a button that will only bump your threads 1 time during a day then you will have to pay to do it again.

I understand it's not exactly the same feature, but if you have a button that bumps everything with one click, all you need to do is check the site a few times per day and click it. It wouldn't take more than 5 seconds to do and it would essentially have the same result as auto-bumps.

Other's might setup a script to auto-click the button every 6 hrs, which would make the auto-bump service completely irrelevant.

Abuse will happen, so this is also why it hasn't been added. We'll consider adding it as part of the 'Epic Member' upgrade or as a purchasable service as you suggested.

something wrong with the site
i received emails about new post in topics
it was feedbacks from buyers, i communicate with them in discord

so emails i received, but when i click on topic link nothing is there, no new posts
also no new feedbacks either added

first buyer must resubmit feedback again (i received 2 emails total) - and it worked
second buyer posted 1 feedback but it is can not be found now

i see there is some approval system was added and that feedbacks must first to me approved by moderator?
it was never happened before
but yes, second buyer posted a screenshot to me where is says post waiting for approval

All feedback from new members is now manually reviewed and approved.

The user that submitted the feedback receives a notification stating the feedback was successfully submitted, but must first be approved, so they should be aware.

We'll update the email so it's delayed until it's actually approved and not when it's submitted.

There is something i want to report, and its a new bug, since i never had that before.
I have an Iphone and use safari as my browser. If i want to create a new thread its not possible, there is like nothing i can do, theres no buttons i can click, and if i rotate my Phone the buttons are back, but if i rotate back, they‘re gone again.

Its never been like this. I always created threads on mobile and it was fine.
Heres another picture, still on mobile, but just rotated the phone. So you say this is ok?

Have you checked for IoS updates? If you have any, I would recommend you to do them. If the issue still persist, clear the browser cache, that helped me.

The toolbar will change based on screen size. For smaller screens (most mobile phones) the smaller, limited tool bar will display. For larger screens you'll see more toolbar options.

About sticky threads of the new thread/forum, is it possible to make something like public notification/bidding period for the first month created? I would definitely pay 20usd for sticky thread instead of someone purchase all 4 threads with 5usd each.

When new forums are added, a post is made in this thread: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/gam...d-every-wednesday.588322/page-30#post-9785320

You can watch that thread in order to get a notification when new forums are open. That's your best bet currently at snatching sticky threads for cheap.

But yes, there should definitely be some limits or a different process for sticky threads when a new forum is made, as it's unfair for someone to grab all 4 for $20. A bidding/auction period of a week or so where you can specify the price you pay would be a great addition.

Low priority thread creation/edit suggestion

When typing 'discord' in certain areas of the forums certain things will happen.

Main site always shows: We only investigate disputes if Trade Guardian is used. EpicNPC does NOT use Discord.

In private messages users see: EpicNPC, middleman and mods do NOT use Discord. Beware of Discord impostors. Only communicate on EpicNPC.

Could I recommend (at least I don't know if this is a thing as I haven't made a post in a while)

When creating a thread on preview or when posting: If you are taking the risk using discord to communicate with others, we at least recommend you requesting registered users on the site to send you their discord names through messaging instead of posting your username for others to add as banned users can still see your posts. We will still not investigate disputes where you lost items or money via Discord,

Now I know your response will likely be 'how many times do we have to warn them' but this is at least just another precaution. I'm just tired of people posting this, heck maybe we need a 0 point warning so we can just go thor mod and make it a point that users should be doing this.

Unless we can just make all threads visible to registered users, but the forum lists still visible?

Currently if a sellers created a new thread and posts a Discord username this warning appears.

WARNING! If you post your username publicly, many scammers will contact you. We do not investigate off-site disputes.

If they submit the thread a 2nd warning appears.

WARNING! Discord Username Detected!
Many scammers will contact you on Discord. We recommend keeping communication on EpicNPC.
98% of reported scams occur on Discord.

BEWARE! Anyone asking you to post threads on their behalf is a scammer. Do not post for anyone else.
- If they can't make their own posts, they are a scammer. If someone is scammed YOU will be banned.

Our goal with these warnings is to get sellers to stop posting Discord usernames, this way if someone wants to contact the seller, they have to do it via EpicNPC. For veteran seller's who know what they're doing, these warnings aren't really needed. However for new or smaller sellers, they need some help so these warnings are meant to teach them.

I don't see the need to reword the warnings. It should already be clear that communicating on Discord is dangerous, but thank you for the suggestion.

1-Add Server/Region to Nikke threads
2-Show Negatif feedbacks on the users threads (Instead of Total feedbacks i think its better to show Positif Feedbacks - Negatif Feedbacks or you can show Total Feedback: x (Positif: x Negatif: x)

1. We'll add the filter soon.

2. On the thread page? We show stars and a rating percentage, so this would already indicated a neg feedback if the seller has one. If we display a neg counter, then we have to add a neutral counter as well. We were trying to save space. The pos/neutral/neg counter also display in the seller's profile, so they're already display. There's no need to add them in 2 areas.

On the profile page, its the same thing. pos/neutral/neg counters are posted in the feedback area, but at the top we just show the totals.

Hello, why at this section
https://www.epicnpc.com/forums/path-of-exile-2-accounts.4292/

3 sticky topics? and no place for 4th
looks like bug

sme issue at Items section of that game
I see 4 threads in both sections.

Thnx but you can you change ''Indonesia'' to ''SEA'' and add ''Global'' or ''Europe'' instead of ''Other''
(According to nikke Global server is Europe server they just prefered to name it Global)

@EpicNPC

Hello, sir. With all due respect, I believe that on the NIKKE forum, the term 'region' should be changed to 'server'.

Server options could be:
- HK/TW
- Japan
- NA
- Global
- SEA

Also, I don't think the 'server' filter should be available on the forum, since NIKKE is not like Blue Archive (Global/JP - Different language) or Wuthering Waves (SEA/NA/Europe - Might laggy if choose wrong server).

In NIKKE, any server account can be play anywhere by any player over region, country, language.

It's been updated, but I kept it as 'region' to be consistent with other sections.

HaniOtaku requested the filter to be added and you're requesting it removed. What do you guys want to do? Keep it or remove it?

Do not remove it its perfect like this just like other sections :)
i think @Dexic didnt mean that he want the filter removed he is just saying that all nikke servers are stable

hello, can you add a time how many left
near the words "Already Purchased" ?? will be much more convenient then go to your Inventory and search this topic amonth many others

Yes, we can add an expiration time to that area.

We are also currently working on an update that will make it easier for sellers to manager their thread shop items.

The Watch thread page will soon display any active items you have for your threads, show when they're about to expire and allow you to renew. It will also allow you to purchase items for many threads at once. This should be available in 1-2 weeks.

Considering the privacy updates EpicNPC have now (like censoring username for those who gave feedbacks), would it be possible to have a choice to hide the sell price as well?
In case I don't want to let others know how much it is sold for.

Oh, and how does a buyer setup who pays the fee when using EpicNPC Escrow (TrustAp)?
Had one just now, but the screenshot he showed doesn't seem to say who pays the fee, while the TG request I got says Seller pays the fee.

If Epicnpc decide to add that feature i hope it wont be mandatory since many seller will prefer that anyone see the sold amount
especially if its a high value since it will make the new buyers trust the buyer more

Yeah, hence choice.

I think there should be transparency to feedback, those deciding to deal with you as a seller have the right to know the type of $ figures you are dealing with, I don’t think we should be hiding everything.

The reason this was added was to prevent feedback abuse. Originally we did not include the price. However members requested to display price because scammers were purchasing cheap items $1, obtaining 2-3 positive feedbacks and scamming someone for $500.

It made it appear they had a good reputation even though the items purchased were extremely cheap. Price was added to prevent this abuse. We can't make this optional because scammers will immediately start doing this again. Sorry, we can't change this.

Yes, the seller pays the fee.

For example. Items is $120. Buyer depostis $120. Fee is taken from this amount and when the transaction is completed, the remaining amount is

Yeah, my trade earlier was $60, offered at $50, and I declined it because it said seller pays the fee (I actually forgot my past ones - can't see them anymore)
Then he went with $53.60, fee is still on seller ($3~ something), but then he mentioned having to pay about $56.

We also had tried to change it to $50 midway (in the TG chat), but it didn't update on the TrustAp's end (at least by what my buyer said). Not sure if that's a bug or it just doesn't instant update, as the payment still ends with me receiving $53.60.

@EpicNPC Would having option to choose currency for TrustAp be possible?
I just checked my earnings and saw the fees are all over the place (didn't check all of them), but very noticable one was 7.3% including conversion to AUD, and this is already on top of buyer paying fees (unless I misremembered - again, there's no way to check if my TG fees were on buyer or seller after the request is Accepted/declined).

That would require the buyer and seller to use the same currency. If you're the seller and opt for AUD only, but a buyer pays wiht USD, it would still need to be converted because you can withdraw to your bank account. This would either cause the buyer to pay the conversion fee or you would not be able to complete the transaction.

I think the best way to do this would be to build in the conversion cost into your prices if the buyer or seller are using different currencies.
