Official Suggestion thread - help make EpicNPC a better marketplace

That would require the buyer and seller to use the same currency. If you're the seller and opt for AUD only, but a buyer pays wiht USD, it would still need to be converted because you can withdraw to your bank account. This would either cause the buyer to pay the conversion fee or you would not be able to complete the transaction.

I think the best way to do this would be to build in the conversion cost into your prices if the buyer or seller are using different currencies.

My biggest peeve is the trustap fees being so random (and actually not low), even when I take AUD (initiated via TrustAp on my own), there's still fees (and it's not even fixed %, too). Likely from their delay of "processing" and wild exchange rate, but still.
Their fees seems hidden, too. Not shown when "withdrawn" at least.

In fact, I'm starting to think it is looking to cost more than.. Scampal / Paypal, lol. Despite their garbage exchange rates and seller support.

How bout force resgiter phone number to chat with other member.
I'm sick of those scammer out there keep resigter new account on epicnpc and find more victim. I got a lot of report since christmas that many scammer are preventing do be me and other legit seller to scam other. The scammer specificly target forum mod to fake. I got 1 impsoster yesterday, check his epicnpc account and he has like 5 6 of them

We want buyers to be able to contact sellers easily. Adding phone verification would greatly hinder it and would not provide much added security.

Scamming a seller is harder and takes more work.

1. Sellers are typically not new and are better at spotting scammers, so they are more difficult to scam.
2. When scamming a seller, you don't get money. You have an account that you have to try to resell before the seller recovers it. This makes it harder for the scammer and more work.

In compassion, when a scammer scams a buyer, they get money and don't need to do anything else. Fast and easy.

Your issue is they're impersonating you on Discord, but that has been happening forever. Requiring phone verification for chat will have no affect, they will still impersonate you. They also have unlimited phone numbers, so this will have no affect.

For impersonation, there is nothing we can do but post warnings. We already have warning messages for both chat and post that warn about this. If people don't read and don't use Epicnpc for communication, there is nothing we can do.

Isn't there a reward for those who have contributed, I mean users who often report the threads, you know users who always report them are very helpful, This gift means that if a user is reported and he is indeed wrong and gets a warning, 25 credits will be given to the reporter

I know this might reduce income, but all members will take care of the forum.

I'm sorry, we do not plan to implement this. That would result in over reporting as many would submit reports to obtain free credits.

We'd end up with many duplicate reports about the same issue and most likely reports about things that aren't even against the rules. For that reason we can't provide this type of incentive.

Can we have the option of “Instant Delivery” for selling accounts like playerauctions/dorado. It helps the buyer know that he can instantly get the account after paying and have the payment sent to our wallet here. It also removes the option of having the seller and buyer online to do the transaction. Just have a review period of 2 or 3 days and freeze the wallet from withdrawals until buyer click “approved” before removing the restriction. Or have it show up in the wallet after a review from a mod or midman. The seller doesn’t need to be online for this. If the buyer does not change status in 3 days the restriction automatically gets removed.

I just think there will be more conversions of sale with them having the option to just buy it instantly. It also doesn't have to apply on all threads, only apply on accounts directory since services,accounts,items,currencies are sorted. Any system that works like that would benefit both parties. It also boosts the post if it shows the delivery time. Im sure it’s been discussed here before but other marketplaces has this option and worked great.

Im not even mad if you charge a small fee for it since other sites charge it too. I have purchased accounts before using instant delivery and bought it over another just because of the delivery time, Im sure I'm not the only one who would think like that. Cheers

These are all good suggestions for a future TG update. However I think including all of this would be overload to buyers. It's a lot of information to display while browsing around. We would have to figure out what data is most important to display, what should be a filter and what isn't needed.

We'll add these suggestions to our dev list, but we have no scheduled update for TG at this time, so it might be a while before you see any of these.

Are your referring to the image icon that appears on the thread list when a thread has images included? I tested that now and it works.

This icon only appears if you upload images to Epicnpc. If you link to imgur, it will not display.

I'm not sure I understand. You want to sort changes on the pages in the Info Center by update? Normally for big changes we make an announcement.

The normal sticky price was $240 and you used BTC with the 10% discount. We received $216 which is 10% off and the correct price.

If your crypto exchange or wallet has extra fees, we do not cover those, so you have to add extra. Binance normally charges extra fees, so if you used that, it's probably why you paid $220, however we only received $216.

We are not involved in any fees from the exchange or wallet and only record the amount received. If your exchange charges $20, we can't see that, but you have to add $20 extra or the payment will fail.

All exchanges charge extra fees including Kraken because that's how they make money. Exchanges are not meant for making purchases online, they're for crypto trading. I recommend using a normal BTC wallet that has no extra fees.

I have a suggestion regarding the privacy system for user profile feedback stats.

Currently, EpicNPC's privacy system partially censors the buyer's and seller's username if they leave feedback for each other. However, in Trade Guardian Middleman transactions, when the buyer and seller complete a transaction, an automatic feedback message is sent to each other.

So can you censor the value/price transaction too such as "Trade Guardian transaction successfully completed for $X99" or "Trade Guardian transaction successfully completed for $*99".

I'd like to hear what others think about this suggestion. Thank you, and sorry for my bad english grammar.

The reason we show price is because scammers will try to game the system and setup the cheapest TG transactions as possible. They'll setup TG free transactions for under $5, build up 2-3 feedback, then try to scam for $1000+.

We show the price to prevent this.

It's just how it works. No one has ever requested stickies display on all pages. Doesn't seem like a bad idea, so we can make that change to make stickes more effective.

Regular user/former mods wouldn't know when reporting, though. Unless its fine when mistakes happen

Also reporters (regular user/former mods) won't know if user was warned or edited. Since no access to edit history (only know "last edit"), and warnings are shown to mods and above only.

Isn't that only if they break rules? What if it didn't break rules at first, and only started breaking partway?
