Hello WotV consumers/fellow WotV gamers,
I'm here to tell you about a transaction which took place in August and is now banned two months later, but first a little background about myself.
I once had my own WotV account, was spending quite a bit, but rage quit/ unlinked the account from all sns sources. Immediately regretting my poor decision I tried to recover the account via Gumi support. After months of waiting, I gave up.
So, I've been buying and selling on here since late July 2020 strictly WotV accounts. I've purchased 8 accounts and sold 5 of them. 4 fresh starters, 2 Mid-game and one endgame.
I've sold/ given away the starters and Mid-game accounts since. I've also been giving away JP accounts with 130k vis for free.
Which brings me to the endgame account I've purchased. I posted this ad:

I received two messages days later.

They were both selling the same account. The second individual said he was selling it for his friend. This account was rr11 and had 9 mlb units for $150.(which was huge at the time in the market.)
Link to the deal: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/glo...ready-to-go-price-drop-150-must-sell.1679036/
We brought the deal to discord and was asked to make two payments of $75 one for him and another for his friend via PayPal.
After the purchase I was able to get into the account. Changed the primary email and password associated with the FB account to secure the account as it's new owner.
Things went fine for awhile. Until September 25th, I received an email via the gmail I made regarding the FB account stating My account was just used to log into a new game called "Mythgard."
I don't have a screenshot of the email since I was prepping the account for sale.
At that time realized I forgot to sign the FB account out of all devices when changing ownership.
After deleting the app data of this new game and signing out all other devices; I thought it was safe. Until this past Saturday when I tried to log the WotV account into a new device. I was greeted with this message: (see attached) *
I confronted the seller via Epicnpc messages. No response.(he was sleeping) I re-requested a friend add on discord. A few hours later we began discussing the ban, and immediately I was asked if I used a bot and hacks to get the account banned myself.
So I went to Gumi support and they informed me it was due to multiple refunds.
See attached: *
Now with proof that the account was refunded and I know I didn't do it, so who did it? The seller's friend.
His motive is unclear, as the seller claims his friend does not have money issues. However my theory is he began playing this Mythgard game(which he signed up for with my FB account) and got pissed off that he lost his progress after I deleted the app data.
It's his fault for not checking which FB he was logging into it with.
Anyway, if you read this far. Thank you. I'd just like to raise awareness of such an unusual circumstance and transaction which has left me without an account that I really enjoyed and made quite a bit of progress in.
The money is not important to me, I seek justice in any form.
