AdministratorThe law must be active. If it did not go into affect, then we will not honor it yet.do you honor deletion requests in states that have a law passed but does not go into effect until January like the state of New Jersey? I am not providing my information to another 3rd party service as verification i paid for was lifetime and I am not trusting some random 3rd party. If you won't change your mind, site is useless to me. And quite frankly tired of scammers pretending to be me.
Global ModeratorI don't see any transactions with unverified sellers in your feedback history, In the end you choose a seller who has been verifiedyes, and for years, before i even learn about this site, compared to my previous market, scams here are pretty tame. also, i dont see the point of having verified ID if epicnpc wont release the info of the scammer or report it to authorities, they can also just fake it or make a new acc with their friends/relatives or pay some random ass mfker who doesnt give a fk for a few. just a false sense of security. same as cooking wearing gloves.
now this is just based on my experience, could just be my luck too, but i never got scammed with sellers with random ass anime pictures and not even a hint of who they are in real life, as long as they have a good reputation and can provide proof of transactions then its good to go. But whenever i bought one its always cheap 10-30$ starter acc so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wait a minute, epicnpc shared my ID with third party? We are asked to agree providing documents to the third party, to allow collection/use of all provided information.
Basically, they are selling/using information for a profit. During 3 years, some users verified 3 times already here, first if they registered in before 2022, second one was in 2022, when you asked to reverify for new security reasons and third one is now.
I don't think this will stop scammers, so what's gonna be next? If Veriff fails, we have to reverify again with another platform?
I don't see the point, how can you trust them with so many negatives.
you can get a verification service literally for anything for not more than 20 eur, I know a lot of people that used it for faceit and binanceI mean the situation between Epicnpc vs Scammer is a little bit like old Twitter vs impersonator.
You ban the one fake, they create another two new profile, spread like a virus the more you spend your time and waste your resource to anti it.
So compromise solution was found by allowing imposter so long as the fake put fan/parody/not affiliated instead of brute force rejecting them outright. Win win solution for every side.
Just run through a basic scan today and buying a full package of ID(real not ai) + bank accounts only cost around $100 here at Malaysia. If that amount in exchange managed to get an absolute Epicnpc Guaranteed Trusted vouch, the scammer will be in for a good feast.
Well good luck for those who decided to leave. Time will tell whether this decision is a hit or a miss in a year or two. We, the sellers will be the first to experience it hahaha.
For a couple of $ actually. Even i do support this change, this is going to hurt us much more then these against this change is actually made. And this makes me really pissed.you can get a verification service literally for anything for not more than 20 eur, I know a lot of people that used it for faceit and binance![]()
Because most of transactions happen on discord since most of buyers prefer adding the seller on discord then creating and activating epicnpc account with a phone number
I hope that rather than straight deleting these threads it will instead be archived for record keeping purposes.Eventually all threads from non-verified members will be removed, but this will not happen at the 30 day mark. Most likely we'll do it in phases.
Most of big sellers / resellers are not using TG i think, we are conducting whole transaction on He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named app, and whenever TG is used, i belive mostly buyers pay fees.
yep same here everytime i ask buyers we can use TG aswell they start backing off cause of the high fees, theres plenty of options to fight scammers or fake accounts, like you said make TG more affordable and they could make it mandatory to only use TG so there cant be scams, i really hope EPICNPC reverses this change cause personally i dont feel comfortable sharing my personal IDs online, till then im better off looking at other sites to continue my businessIn my case, I sell only high-end accounts, with an average sale of around $800 USD. I’m always open to using Trade Guardian and often mention it in my threads, but many customers hesitate due to the higher fees associated with larger transactions.
Another option could be offering a sliding scale for fees, where the percentage decreases as the transaction amount increases. This way, customers would still have the security of TG but with a fee that feels more reasonable for higher payments.
This approach might make TG more attractive to high-end buyers.
The admin could consider automating the intermediation process as much as possible by adding workflows, an E2E form for account information, and allowing a middleman to handle a limited number of transactions, say three. This would minimize effort and increase ROI.yep same here everytime i ask buyers we can use TG aswell they start backing off cause of the high fees, theres plenty of options to fight scammers or fake accounts, like you said make TG more affordable and they could make it mandatory to only use TG so there cant be scams, i really hope EPICNPC reverses this change cause personally i dont feel comfortable sharing my personal IDs online, till then im better off looking at other sites to continue my business
thats so true you get lots of good reviews for a reason to show that youre a serious seller and keep the TG money fees for yourself since its not a small amount in the end if you sell an account for quite a nig amount of money, i am pretty sure now there are not going to be that many new sellers that are willing to go through all of this just to sell theyre account, a lot are going to switch over other sitesDont know why anyone with decent number of positive feedbacks and good trading history should use TG, its slow, tedious and expensive process , and sellers have 0 benefits of using same. Buyers are in bit better position , during trading process, after trade is completed they have same risk and 0 help if seller is scammer / thief.
And verification in this form should be for MM or for people who want to use TG as only method to conduct sales, no for random guy who decides to sell his account. MM staff is dealing with money and buyers on epicnpc directly, and they are involved in whole money transfer process. Non TG sellers / buyers arent.
We're giving back for the blessings this website has brought us (Admin, Staff, Middleman), and that’s more than enough for me.Dont know why anyone with decent number of positive feedbacks and good trading history should use TG, its slow, tedious and expensive process , and sellers have 0 benefits of using same. Have you tried another document?I need some help, I sent my ID in order get verified again the same one as previous one and the system didn't recognize it and denied it, I hope some of the admins can help, I don't want to lose my account, almost 10 years in here.
TG isn’t scam proof so making it a mandatory thing won’t do anything realistically.yep same here everytime i ask buyers we can use TG aswell they start backing off cause of the high fees, theres plenty of options to fight scammers or fake accounts, like you said make TG more affordable and they could make it mandatory to only use TG so there cant be scams, i really hope EPICNPC reverses this change cause personally i dont feel comfortable sharing my personal IDs online, till then im better off looking at other sites to continue my business
yea i know that ive actually got scammed once off of TG still to this day dont know how lolTG isn’t scam proof so making it a mandatory thing won’t do anything realistically.
TG sadly only provides safety for receiving said item you are buying or selling. Doesn’t save you from potential scams that happen after the fact. Still better than having to go back and forth on who goes first in my opinion.yea i know that ive actually got scammed once off of TG still to this day dont know how lol
Sorry, i still curious. I just verified on 28 aug, so i need to reverify again or no?Starting today, EpicNPC will be requiring ID verification for anyone who wants to list items or services for sale, including "buying" threads. This is not something we wanted to do, but as VPNs and phone services are becoming more common we feel in order to protect members and the community we had to add this requirement.
Current Verified Members
- All members will be required to re-verify their accounts, so even if you have previously verified, you will have to redo the process.
- Current verified members will have 30 days to reverify their account. After that they will lose their Verified badge and the ability to create new threads.
Verification Process
- The process is similar to the current process. Full name, phone verification, ID scan and selfie will be required.
- Drivers license, passport, residence permit, or ID card can be used. We are not requesting SSN or any tax ID.
- The verification process is now automated which means members will not have to wait 24 hrs for their verifications to be reviewed. Normally it should take a few minutes.
- If a verification is flagged, this can delay the process.
Privacy and Security
- Verifications will be processed and stored by Veriff.com. Only EpicNPC employees will have access to this data. Moderators will not (same as before).
- Current verification data will be deleted in the near future. This is one of the reasons we are requiring members to re-verify their accounts.
- Privacy policy for Veriff.com https://www.veriff.com/privacy-notice

Agreed there should be some threshold to grandfather existing pillars of the community with out all this red tapeI've already verified in the past and paid a fee to upgrade that verification. Over 11 years on the site as an infrequent buyer/seller with perfect 5 Star Feedback.
I'm not going to verify again as I've already jumped through that security hoop. I really don't think it should be a requirement for trusted members that have been part of the site for so many years.
Disappointing new requirement to say the least.
Well saidEvery1 focusing on the negative instead of looking at it objectively.
Will this change affect sellers at all? No, sellers will still bump their selling threads and peeps will go to their website or add their cord to conduct a transaction
Will this reduce the amount of scammers? Yes, obviously not all of them but good portion of them or %, not all of the scammers are so ahead of the curve with bunch of fake ids and everything rolling ready to create a new account. In fact most scammers do it once then get banned afterwards, this will prevent them from coming back on epicnpc ever again. If it reduces 5% of the total scams on the website im all for it, it's a win in my book.
Mike is clearly trying to make this website safer place for average consumer and i can respect that, i don't mind sending in my documents, neither should any seller if they plan on conducting business on epicnpc.
Something else id like to add is g 2 g / player-auctions or similar websites have literally the same kyc policy, you have to verify by submitting documents before listing a offer. The concept of epicnpc is similar, only difference is here on epicnpc the deal is done outside of the website in most cases, which is why sellers need to be verified even more.
While I can appreciate a positive look on this and agree Mike's intent is in the right place. There is so much identity theft and hackings going on out there. We shouldn't be forced to expose ourselves to more risk with yet another outside company that can be hacked at any time. It will down the road be shown to have poor security of users data I am sure of it. Verifying your id on here won't stop the actual scams going on involving this website. It almost all completely discord based. I get tons of pm's about impersonators of me constantly. You are also given an almost completely free pass to scam here as long as you don't use trade guardian anyway. so you can verify your id and just scam anyway just avoid trade guardian and talk off site.Every1 focusing on the negative instead of looking at it objectively.

So if the scammers are still passing verification with the (NEW SYSTEM) then how does this make it safer? This new rule is not going to stop scammers; it might make it harder for them, but it will never defeat them. Just an hour ago, I banned a returning scammer who managed to pass verification with the new system.
Eh?Every1 focusing on the negative instead of looking at it objectively.

someone got scammed by someone called"epicnpc" on discord,he was asking for money deposit to finish the seller verification , everybody take care!
Eh?
You got your logic twisted a bit, if there's trades happening outside the website why tf is it then in anyone's interest that you're verified???
Trading outside TG or even purely on discord implies certain level of trust in between both parties , and if you get scammed well that's on you! (Why didn't you stay on epicNPC for all the communication, why didn't you get TG?)
It's whole another story with g 2 g and the other website's, they have automated systems that the buyers MUST be confident about. Afterall they guarantee that you'll get the account within seconds after payment so if you are getting scammed you're gonna be blaming g 2 g for what happened.
There's nothing like that here, this website offers 0 guarantees!!! Even if you get scammed via TG , you don't get your money back or the account.
It was built on the mutual trust between buyers and the sellers - no automated systems , very little rules and open environment- kinda lika faire or a flea market in that anyone can come and trade. And up to this date it's been working alright, why the need for change I don't understand??
There's a reason that sellers list here and not n g 2 g.
This changes everything about that dynamic , there's no more equal trust between buyer/seller - instead the sellers are treated as potential scammers from the get go, having to jump through countless hoops and give highly personal information all for what? (So they would be less inclined to scam in the future??)
This is not equal treatment for sellers and the buyers, it's how you treat criminals, like legit makes me wanna puke just thinking about it. You give veriff ALL of your personal information and where does it end up/what happens to it is anyone's guess.
Many users already mentioned that veriff is a shady company and was sued very recently for secretly collecting personal information , it settled out of court just so the details of what it was doing with all that info woulnd't leak out.
Sure doesn't seem like they have the best interests for all the naive users that verified through them... (I mean why would they when it's only 4M$ to settle out of court and in the meanwhile they can earn billions from selling all that info)
simple exampleDid you say if you get scammed via TradeGuardian, you don't get your money back?
Didn't the administrator say that the reason the fees are being marked up is because of potential disputes and having to refund the buyer?
If there is no benefit to using TradeGuardian, then what is the point of this change or the system itself?
The only way to avoid scams is due diligence or a system where a deposit is made, and the transaction quantities/benefits you can deal with/receive vary as an algorithmic metric of trust and deposit.
Global Moderator1. No, we do not handle the payment between buyer/seller. Except escrow which might be able to be refunded. I never used the system so I do not know all the ins and outs of it.Did you say if you get scammed via TradeGuardian, you don't get your money back?

Local ModeratorOkay, let's say I want to verify with Veriff, I C A N ' T. I simply cannot, they do not recognize my ID (even though on their website they say they do), and when I made a ticket for EpicNpc support, guess what they told me? Welp, too bad. They told me and I quoteThe only real argument you guys have is that "veriff" cant be trusted, which i can understand why you would think that but at the same time let's not pretend like mike fell from a tree and that he's not doing this for YEARS. I'm sure he looked into it and knows more than we do so maybe give him more benefit of the doubt instead of going all out berserk mode.
Sellers having to force-verify themselves in order to conduct business on epicnpc automatically makes epicnpc safer place in the eyes of a buyer. If i was a buyer i would feel safer knowing that the person im buying from submitted some sort of identification, even if he has like 5 positive feedbacks only.
To my understanding epicnpc has/had a battle against scammers since day 1 and they're finally doing something about it and this is the communitys response? Kinda brutal to be honest

On top of that why do you submit your documents to paypal? They're 1.3 on trustpilot, theyre notorious banning & not giving a reason and on top of that taking the money out of your account as their monetary damage policy. People are aware of how shady paypals practice is yet they're still using it to this day and it's #1 payment processing service and probably will be for a very long time.
I read so many comments that go like "what stops scammers from getting a new id and creating a new account?" Well, nothing dude, they can do that everywhere if they have access to that kind of stuff and not just epicnpc. The point is to filter out some scammers from the site or a percentage of them, obviously you cant get rid of them all but it's a start of something good at least and im all for it. If you're so close minded that you can't see that then idk what else to say tbh
