I just recently got an email that was a bit hard to understand, yet it looked like a legit email. It came from an actual paypal email, etc.
The email had told me my paypal had been limited due to some kind of breach or something(I deleted it otherwise id give exact wording), so I went to paypal.com and logged into my account. It seemed completely fine, all my previous payments were made by me, it wasnt asking me to provide a new pw or anything crazy to secure my account, and on top of it all I used an authenticator for my paypal.
Next I went back to the poorly worded email which is when I realized, this isnt the same email I use for paypal. That's when I finally clue'd in to the fact that it was a phishing email, I scrolled down and there was a link that was telling me to secure my account and it sent me to some other site. I never did click on it for fear of a keylogger or something, but the address on the link was definately a site not associated with paypal.
You were warned! Be safe!
