Let me get this out of the way: this thread is not designed with the purpose of getting anyone banned on MD. Tpolston is not necessarily a "scammer" in the general sense of the term. I am creating this thread in hopes that he will stop ignoring me and that we can rectify the situation in question.
Since this scamming really doesn't fall under normal categories I won't use the Scammer Post template.
On Dec. 3rd I purchased the a 31-40 Powerleveling package from him for the price of $65. (His thread is here) He promised that he does not bot and that there is no risk involved. On Dec. 17th the next ban wave came for Aion and the account he was leveling was caught up in it.
He has rarely been on AIM and I have not talked with him through AIM since the package was purchased. I did PM him a day before the ban wave to ask how he was coming as progress seemed to have slowed down to a grinding halt. He responded that he did slow down and that he should be done early next week. The next day the ban came and I PM'd him asking where we should go from here. He responded that he had an account he could reimburse me with, but that was the last PM that I received from him. Since then I have sent him 3 PMs, but he has ignored them all and will not reply or get on AIM to talk to me.

Baeld: Damn NCSoft; they are trying to be really proactive about the botter problem. I'm not exactly sure what happened yet, but even my old account (0 months paid time and was a preorder, I stopped playing it before the month of October was up) got banned. In other words, an inactive account for 3 months got caught up in this ban wave...
I contacted support regarding my account being banned (the old one, where I'm the OO). Currently they have told me that my ticket has been escalated to a Senior Customer Support Representative. I have a feeling I -might- be able to rescue that account from the ban wave, but I can't be sure.
As for the account you were leveling on, I don't think I have a hope for getting that one back. I'm not the OO of that account which makes contesting a ban incredibly difficult. Also it would look awkward if they just simply check the e-mails and the such, they'd be able to clearly tell that I'm not even the OO and... well... I just simply can't get this one unbanned.
For reimbursement, I guess can I have the new account and a refund of the levels that were not completed (38-40)? That would at least put me so I haven't lost everything here.
Thanks,
Baeld
Baeld: You know what, [censored] Aion. Can I just get a refund for my entire powerleveling order?
If you could that would be great, thanks.
Baeld: I know you're reading these, hit me up on AIM we need to talk about this.
Thanks,
Baeld

So my problem isn't necessarily that he's a scammer, it's more that he got my account banned and won't even contact me about any form of reimbursement. I'm not looking for any unreasonable form of reimbursement... I'm either looking for a refund of my order ($65) or a refund for my CD-Key and unfinished levels (Which is probably more than $65). I don't want that new account that he offered me, or anything like that. I just want some of my money back.
Thanks,
Baeld
Edit: Oh I forgot, I did actually contact NCSoft about the account and this was their reply:
