I was interested in buying a [CLASS] from MMOArmory, and after contacting and discussing with them the said account for nearly 3 weeks, decided to take a plunge and start a payment (1 of 3) towards it.
MMOArmory was very polite and supportive when i was in the info gathering/dealing stages of the account. Since this was my first time buying an account, i wanted to make sure everything was in tip top shape and that the account did indeed have all the old vanity gear and achievements and mounts that they claimed it did. After "gifting" them $30 to buy time for the account, They changed the gar on the account, showed me the characters REAL armory, and i was able to see that the gear was indeed there. I was pretty pleased and, making sure to take all precautions available, asked about original owners, and name changes, and what was the battle.net name (i wanted to make sure it was something like john doe, not some weird obscure name, but they won provide that info for me). All in all, they treated me VERY good, and i was VERY impressed.
We came to a deal about 2 weeks ago that i would pay 50% upfront and play the account (get username, password, all that), and after the next 50% he would give full ownership to me (SQA, etc).
Well, On Friday I discussed with him an alternative price and payment method (3 sets of payments), and he agreed to both the price and the payment option.
I sent him paypal my first set of payment, and he recieved it. He gave me the username and password and told me to try and log in, and that the account would be locked, and wanted me to verify. I verified with him that the account was indeed locked.
He then gave me the password associated to the email of the account, and said he would unlock it. 15 mins later i tried again and it still was locked.
I log into Battle.net and click the WoW1 game, and it states the account has been permanently banned.
I email him and, supposedly, his "internet went down, couldnt talk to me that night". I found this out because someone (his friend?) sent me an email saying his internet was down and that he would contact me tomorow.
So all friday I didnt have the account.
Saturday morning i check my email. He said, once again, his internet was down, and he wasnt able to get back on. He also said that when i paid him money to buy time or the account so he could switch gear on it so i could verify it was a legit account, that he also bought time on another account, and that account was also locked.

"hey [NAME]: woke up mid sleep to send you the email i had tried to send when my internet went down. im going straight back to bed after i hit send tho so dont expect a reply till i wake

oh that. ungh. do you remember when you asked me to add game time on the 6th of jan? it caused the acc to get locked.
remember also I said someones acc got locked last week? I added gametime to this priest and to his acc so it was both locked. you can check the email in the yahoo.
coincidentally i was about to print the TOU form tomorrow morning anyway. ill go ahaead and do that, and send it to blizz, and they should unlock it same day"
So i reply thats great, as long as I get it before Sunday. He replies:
"It would take a few days to fix unfortunately. Please do give me that time. The account was locked due to my courtesy of adding game time and I also did allow access at 1/3rds payment instead of the 50% payment that we initially agreed on. I'll try my best to get it unlocked but just give some leeway in that sence
"
So, being a softie type of guy, I allow ti and say this:
"Understandable: you HAVE been the most generous host.
However, this was my first 3 day weekend in over 3 months, and I was hoping to get some gaming time in
if you DO get access to the account before sunday please let me know!
While we are waiting, can you point me in the direction to talk to those people who successfully name changed the account? might as well do something useful while waiting."
That was Saturday.
Sunday rolls around and no word from him. I figure he may be a taking the day off, no worries, but still wanted to check on the account. However i held my bearing and allowed a day of rest.
Monday is here and i send him this email:
"Hey,
Back to work starting wed, got another day off since I switched [JOB DESCRIPTION] and get a full day off tomorow.
Sorry I'm sending this when you are most likely sleeping, if I'm right about when you went to bed last
How's the account looking?"
No reply. I figure, meh, I'll give him one more day, he DID say a COUPLE of days.
So now its late afternoon Tuesday.
I sent him this email:
"its been 4 days and ive sent multiple emails. sorry if i sound rash or impatient but i already paid [1/3 PAYMENT AMOUNT], and I have sent multiple emails concerning the account.
It seems before I sent any money that you could talk to me very eagerly to sell me the account, but as soon as I sent money, and found out the account was banned, you talked less and less, and it's begging to make me think its scammish type behavior.
I have sent you 2 emails since you said "your internet went down" and you said "it would take a couple days, you would fill out a form and send it into blizzard and it would be unlocked that same day".
You have responded to neither of those emails.
I would just like an update and response so I know for sure I did not get scammed. I would like the account more but if thats still not possible then I would like some reassurance. If I knew i couldnt use the account I would've saved the money up.
Please respond ASAP."
I'm still waiting for a response.
When i looked up in google "MMOArmory Reviews, I found this site, where a customer also had a problem with MMOArmory, posted here, and I guess the MMOBay team contact MMOArmory, and the issue was resolved.
I don't know if this is proper or not, first timer here, but i just dont wanna be scammed. I'm sure the people at MMOArmory are not gonna scam me and are just buy but that IS a large amount I have already paid... and for a banned account.
Please help?
I can provide screenshots, email, and whatnot, just didnt want to post here until i get a response (im very nervous, hence me switching out my name and job and money paid)
