Alright - I've been waiting for a week for this guy to get his stuff straight, but he's been filled with excuses & lies. It's officially time to consider him a complete scammer.
So far he has scammed me. I decided to acquire this account, as he had good rep on this website. He showed me the character in game and led me to believe that this transaction would be a breeze. I purchased the game cards (for which he was going to use on his "rogue") from a legitimate seller and gave the codes to him.
The first game card worked for him, but he claims the second one was "invalid". So, I (along with the trustworthy person who sold me the game cards) tried entering the second code. The WoW web page displayed that "the game card had been used up". Hmmmm....that's a bit odd...So, I let him know this and he immediately began faulting the individual I purchased the cards from. I asked him for a screen shot of his account to prove that he never got credit for the 2nd game card, but he came up with the "my ie browser is lagging/having difficulties" excuse. I asked if I could get the account information and he accused me of trying to scam him of the account...EVEN THOUGH I delivered on my part of the bargain. He said he will only give the account information if I supply him with another game card (regardless of it "works" or not). After that, he decided to "go take a smoke" and never came back.
So several days later, I catch him online and decide to talk to him. He reassures me that everything will be worked out, but he'll be leaving soon to watch "Drillbit Taylor" with his "girlfriend". He didn't want me to post because he didn't want to tarnish his +3 rep, as he has some "big deals" going through this week.
So I wait...and two days later (tonight), he pops on AIM again and I message him asking him about the transaction and what he wants to do about it. He gives me a "????" and acts as though he has no idea who I am or that he even owns the character.
After all of this, it is in my opinion that he did indeed get credit for both game cards but just won't admit to it. I have the full conversation via AIM along with all the screen shots, so if he feels it to be necessary to deny any of these allegations I can prove him wrong.
As mentioned, I've had enough and am alerting of any people participating in transactions with this kid to be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS - as in my transaction, he was a SCAMMER.
