Misaligned avatars and IM notifications

It appears to me that avatars are misaligned for everyone. I am not sure if I'm the only one who sees this.

It also appears that when somebody sends me a message on the forum's IM system, I no longer receive a sound notification. I verified that I do not have this disabled.

The misalignment appears for those who are using disproportionate avatar images in 125x125. The store perk you can buy with 180x180 doesn't seem affected. I tried experimenting a bit, and that's what I was able to see.

We're aware of the misaligned avatar and it will be fixed soon.

The sound for new messages is enabled, so you should still be getting them. Make sure your speakers are on.

Headphones are plugged in and working. I only get sound notifications about 20% of the time when someone messages me out of the blue.

the avatar alignment has been fixed. I'll investigate the chat sound issue next.
