All of these spammers on WoW trade chat, group finder or bnet who link to their site and actually show the price of their services too, do they ever get banned? and if yes, for how long? is there a roi associated with it or is it risk free? do you think it's worth doing it?

I'm not talking about boosters who sell their services for gold, I'm talking about those who sell for real money and link to their site.

Those who mostly link to their website Ingame mostly have hundreds of dummy accounts on their hands that are meant to be banned and caught anyways. Of course every now and then an Unknowledgeable Individual/ Raid Group gets the rather not so clever idea to advertise their services too “Ingame”, which may or may not result in a bann or a temporary one.
Mostly they receive permanent banns if they get reported and caught in the action of doing so, but where no witness there will be no judge to pass a sentence as the saying goes. Hope that answers your question.
