So, apparently, if you're mad at somebody all you have to do is call them a scammer and you get an instant infraction, a yellow warning sticker tagged on your profile, your thread gets locked and then deleted with no warning whatsoever and then the person being accused has to apparently defend himself against his accuser. Because that makes all of no sense.

Mind you, this is after said accuser has made no effort 6 months to do anything about anything.

So, here we go. Let's look at some things.

Time to re-type the same recounting of events that I had posted in my thread that got locked and deleted for no reason. Good job, moderators.

He bought something from me in September.

In October, I was still being charged on my CC.

In November, I was still being charged on my CC.

In December, I was still being charged on my CC. In fact, I was charged TWICE in December for some mysterious reason.

I warned him MANY TIMES VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE ON THIS WEBSITE that he needed to change the billing information TO HIS OWN CC. Wow, and I thought it was just common sense that you had to do that. I guess not.

After being charged FOUR times for a total of $57.80 (this is tantamount to him just stealing $57.80 from me), which you can clearly see in the pictures, I get fed up with trying to reach him. He never responded to ANY messages that I sent him, yet he was constantly online. You aren't going to steal $57.80 from me and I not do anything about it. I had to call my credit card company to have the charges stopped because Mr. hectordc5 WOULD NOT CHANGE THE CREDIT CARD BILLING INFORMATION TO HIS OWN. This is theft. Plain and simple.

It's not MY responsibility to pay for HIS hobby. If he can't afford to pay the monthly charges, then he should've just cancelled service on the account after changing the credit card billing information to his own. Again, plain and simple.

I warned him ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS that if he didn't change it, I would take action. I did. He had to live with the repercussions of his choice to ignore me and do nothing. That is not a scam. Nobody was scammed. He bought something, refused to pay the monthly charges, stuck me with the monthly bill and then acted surprised when the account got locked down... but apparently he wasn't surprised enough because it took him over SIX MONTHS to say so much as a single word to me about anything.

I find it wonderfully magical and extremely coincidental that he did nothing after SE locked the account. He never made a post about it here. He never sent me a PM. He never did anything whatsoever. Now, six months later, when I am now trying to sell the account that I took repossession of because he apparently had NO intention of ever paying the monthly fees that we all know are associated with FFXI, I'm the one who is somehow getting called out by this joker. This is a sham.

No communication at all since last year in September. Now he wants to cause a fuss. Why did he wait until now? Anyone have an idea? I sure don't.

The fact that he can just freely post a completely untrue account of what transpired and then I am the one who gets slapped with infractions and warning labels without him EVER PROVIDING A SINGLE IOTA OF EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER is literally ******* baffling. Yet, here I am. Making the thread to defend myself. This is the most preposterous bullshit I've ever seen in my life.

After this is resolved, I will NEVER use this website again.

You are not allowed to accuse someone of scamming, stop acting like a child.

You are also responsible to remove the credit card billing before selling.

IF you took the account back, you owe him a refund minus the gametime.
 
r34dy5t34dydr4w, yes. Maybe i forgot to update the credit card info. That was my fault entirely. However, after the account was purchased i stopped being active on these forums. It wasn't until January when i became fully active again AND when i saw your private messages about you being charged for the account. Since i wasn't playing on the account anymore, i tried logging in on the Square Enix website to check if the billing info was changed, but i wasn't able to log in, meaning the account was recalled. Yes, i'll be held responsible for not changing the info. I don't mind.

I received 2 messages from you. One on November 14 2016, and the other on November 15, 2016. Like i said. I wasn't active on the forums up until January which is when i saw the messages.

Now, the transaction with he date 12/20/16 does not add up. You were charged twice 7 days apart, for the same account? On 12/20/16 AND on 12/13/2016?

What gets me the most is the actions you took. Recalling the charges on your credit card did not suffice. You deliberately contacted Square Enix to make a claim and get the account back. There's a word for that around these forums, but i'll refrain from that.

You can call me a scammer, thief, etc. What i did was a mistake and not a deliberate one. What you did on the other hand was much worse.

Why is he not allowed to accuse someone of scamming when someone took money from him multiple months, when clearly this person was using a credit card that did not belong to him?

Just because someone forgets to remove a credit card, doesn't entitle free use by anyone. That is theft unless he authorized the use of the card

Yes, you warned me to change the billing info, however i was not active on these forums. You stating that i was constantly online is complete and utter BS, unless you can backup your claim.

Take action of what? Recalling the account? Please provide proof where you stated you would take "action" if i didn't change billing info. I did not ignore you. I did nothing because of the hassle of the process of making a claim here on the forums. It's very time consuming.
You are stating nobody was scammed? So when you filed with your credit card company for the charges being made you knew the account was going to be locked, and instead of leaving the account locked, which i had full onwership of, you decided to contact square enix and reclaim the account? You did not hear from me on the forum becuase frankly i did not care about the account. What i do care is you reselling the account. You don't do that. That is moraly wrong.

I did nothing because i did not play when the account was locked down. I had no knowledge the account was locked, nor did i know it was recalled until i tried logging back in around February.
I did not make a post, or contacted you because i did not care. I was not playing FFXI, nor did i want to get back into the game at the time.

You're telling me i'm the one making stuff up? You want evidence, well you've got it. Here's just a quick rundown of what transpired. I bought the account from you, i forgot to change the billing info so you filed a chargeback against your CC company. The account was locked down and you recalled it and now you have possesion of it and are trying to resell it. I don't know how clearer this can get.

Yup, i did have plenty of chances to change the billing info. You are correct. I just wasn't active on the forum for me to see the private messages you sent me that stated to change the billing information.

Like i said, this is only important to me NOW because you're trying to resell the account. I don't care for the account nor do i care for you. I care for the morality of the action you are trying to do, which is to sell it and benefit from something that is not yours.
