What is the dispute about?
Firstly, can I just say I have no idea who to believe or trust in this scenario. Right up until my account was taken very recently the seller Tokyoni had genuinely been first class, and 100% nice and respectful in all of our chats, i cant actually believe the guy would scam me tbh but the evidence is telling my head i must have been scammed. With this I'm extremely disappointed to be having to post this however the fact remains that I have lost a lot of value, both sentimental and monetary, not to mention I bought the white octane which was on the account as a treat when i FINALLY hit diamond. Infact everyone that I've ever dealt with has appeared genuine and helpful, however I also appreciate people make bad decisions for a number of reasons. With this I'll proceed post the below, if nothing else to prevent it happening to anybody else. I actually bought this mainly for S1 blizzard wizard and the S1 SSL decal.
In November 2021 I purchased the steam account "pcmasterrace27". It was advertised on epic NPC, see link above. The seller Tokyoni indicated that they were the original owner and they do not use it anymore as have switched to epic launcher. A soon as owned, I used this account as my main account and also linked to my epic and xbox series s, therefore it is at my rank but with the cool items, I used the steam platform for playing but epic was the primary so it held the epic rank etc. Over time I've added multiple expensive items to the account using steam, and my white octane (PC) was bought for many credits on the account too. This account was stacked with items including my own accomplishments from every subsequent rocket pass etc.
In February of 2022 the account was taken (someone changed the log in details despite me having steam guard, my phone number, my email etc). I contacted the original seller tokyoni and many weeks later I got it back, confirming to me that they have perennial rights over this account. I passed this recll up as a glitch at the time as I did not realise that it was even possible to take an account unto then, and was so glad i was able to get it back even giving a small incentive as a thankyou, but this was not asked for or expected by the seller. The saving grace about this steam for me is that even when it is stolen, it seems almost useless for anyone else to play RL on the pcmasterrace27 steam as it was bound to my epic account, which effectively places a stranglehold on the RL account as far as i can tell (until the point you disconnect using epic account settings).
on 27th/28th September this year this "theft" scenario happened again (Fig1), I didn't actually see the mail below and actually realise until a few days after the fact, but I messaged the seller Tokyoni on the original discord which we had spoken on but received no reply for a few days. see further below to Fig 3 for me reaching out. The below screen (Fig 1) was how I became aware of the account theft and how I reached out to the seller (original seller is now topic on discord);
Fig 1; This how i was notified the account was compromised.
Fig 2; Moving on, when I realised what had happened, I messaged the seller Tokyoni (now topic) on discord;
I couldn't get into steam any more, so I logged into my epic and when I played RL my pre-sets and key bindings had all changed, my white octane (and god knows what else) were gone. So I looked on "connections accounts" in epic games (Fig 3) settings and my steam display name had changed (to the name of someone who had just bought my account from Mizu, fig 5). I've hidden this to give the new "owner" the benefit of the doubt, but the key point here is that it had changed so someone was using the stolen steam.
Fig 3 connected account name change;
Because I did not get a reply on discord to the above (fig 2), in the meantime I decided to look on EPIC NPC to establish a second line of contact with the seller. It was to my surprise, that I see this new advert below posted by the original seller. The timing of this was alarming, given that despite no account selling activity in a long time, and at around the exact same that time mine was stolen a new sale listing appears with many similar attributes, and there is also what appears to be a white octane? equipped, which may or may not be coincidental. This really heightened my suspicion. Note the discord name in the new EPIC NPC advert of the seller in fig 4;
Fig 4;

So, because the stolen steam was linked to my epic account someone else kept logging in (the new buyer), and they added their friends to my RL account as friends via steam, so inadvertently these were now also my epic friends!, this allowed the dots to be connected So, when i logged into my epic I had a bunch of new friends in game. The person who has recently bought "my" steam account in the last week was quickly in contact with me via their own epic. Initially his friends were messaging me accusing me of trying to steal his steam and that i need to give it back cos I'm illegal!! despite me being the one robbed.
Anyway, he seems genuine too, but for his privacy I have concealed his name and in the context of this selling the same account twice its somewhat irrelevant. Through speaking in-game chat we then spoke on discord, and he mentioned the below. I later re checked the epic NPC advert that i was alarmed by and it was the same name.
Fig 5; below chat with person who says they have just bought the steam account of mine;
Other details / notes:
I have now unlinked the steam from my epic and regrettably given it up. The new buyer is taking the risk of owning this account. I've effectively admitted defeat. The new buyer has given me a steam account to continue to play on, but it is nothing in comparison to the old one, my spending, my acheivementsetc. . I figured its better than coming away with nothing which was exactly what i had at that time although ive no real faith that this new one wont be stolen, if i didn't expect this i probably wouldn't have posted this thread and jsut taken the hit but i somehow cant help but think i will end up with nothing at the end of it.
I'd love my account or car back though, I'm extremely disappointed actually, but now the new "owner" carries the risk that comes with that account. I do not know if they have the original email account that goes with it or not.
Finally, in what feels like a real stab in the back is that this is the feedback that I left after the first reclaim in March 2022;
