There is no way to confirm if a seller botted or hand-farmed their currency. Either way, the risk to being banned for participating in the currency market appears to be about the same.

I'm looking for a few private buyers on Behemoth server and resellers also, currently i have around 70M on me and please note that it is all self farmed by hands (selling stuff on MB), not gil farming bots in duties.
