I am reporting Vick5 because he recalled his FFXIV account after seven months. The original thread is here: https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/116...re-exclusive-items-pvp-achievements-much-more
I noticed on 02/21/2018 at 749PM CST that my one time password FFXIV security token was removed from the account I purchased. I then received two more emails at 0750PM CST stating the account information had changed and finally at 0754PM CST that the account password had changed.
I notified the seller immediately via email and his response was: "Sorry for the delay, I’m at work. I don’t even play ffxiv anymore. Not since you got the account. You’ve had the account since summer and now you’re having problems with it? What did SE say? Maybe I can help you by contacting them but there’s only so much I can do if you don’t provide me details. Did you bot, buy gold from a third party or do anything to put the account at risk?"
A follow-up email from him reads:
"Sorry again, I just got out of work. If you had an authenticator token, there is no possible way for anyone to access your account unless your information was compromised or the account was suspended/banned due to suspicious activity. Did SE send you emails regarding this information? It seems strange to me that you just now lost your account after more than half a year, especially after you said you hardly played on it. Maybe they are cracking down on sold accounts. I will do my best to look into it, but please know it has been months and I am completely out of the loop. You'll have to share every detail with me on how this could have happened. I also work on-call in health care so if there's a delay in my replies, I am busy at work.
Good luck mate "
I went on Square's support chat site and the agent mentioned to me that the only way someone can remove the one time password is if a) someone had my emergency removal password, which is IMPOSSIBLE; b) if the original account owner sent a notarized form authorizing the release of account information.
As mentioned in Vick5's post above, he is the original owner. I've sent him a few follow-up emails explaining my situation and how I find it highly unlikely I was hacked. It's pretty clear that he snatched his account back.
My response was to contact Square's Special Task Force team that handles RMT in-game and provided them with all the info I could to get the account banned. I do not expect for Vick5 to return the account, but I will be damned sure that no one ever gets to use it, including him. I would steer clear from this guy and I hope that karma repays him two-fold.

I know that the above email images does not prove that Vick5 is guilty because I could have made those changes and just reported the emails here. I am not trying to get my money back or get that account back. I just want everyone to know that this guy is a scammer.
