Well after attempting to sell my Shadow Priest for a couple of hours and getting one offer, suddenly a wave of people aiming me comes in. They're all asking me similar things in similarly broken English. I'm kind of weirded out at this point already considering I suddenly have 7 people aiming me offering to pay whatever I said through paypal. After some interrogation of one of them he sends me a screenshot of his ID which is in German. His TW location says he's in California which led me to believe he's behind a proxy / lying. After questioning him about this he said he didn't understand me and kept repeating himself.
While this is not necessarily a scam attempt they all offered to pay through paypal immediately and whatever price I said.
I think this might be linked to an AIM phishing attempt I had earlier, but I have no idea!
