About three or four days ago, I was contacted by tadersalad1234 via AIM requesting to trade his 65 Orc Shaman on Cho'gall and 60 Undead Warrior on Cho'gall for my 65 Human Paladin on Chrommagus. It seemed like a good deal to me, so we met each other in-game on both servers, and communicated on AIM/Ventrilo. Seemed like a legit trade, even though my Paladin clearly outgeared his Shaman and I never planned to play his Warrior. I went with it.

This was actually my first REAL trade, so I made some mistakes. We exchanged passwords, he requested a e-mail/phone/password change, and I authorized the e-mail from Blizzard. I also changed his information, but I realized he never clicked on the confirmation link from the Blizzard e-mail, until now.

I transfered his Shaman over to my current server and leveled to 69 in a few days and COMPLETELY upgraded all his gear.

I get a IM from him on Tuesday asking if he could transfer his Warrior off to another account, I agree 'since I really didn't care. He logs on the Shaman and lets me log on my Paladin to talk to friends while he talks to his. I notice he gets me one complete level and respec's horribly. I also notice that he deleted two pieces of my Spell Damage gear. As kindly as I can, I tell him his spec is [censored] and offer to respec him and put in a GM ticket for the missing gear; he agrees.

I go to bed for the night after the respec. Wednesday, my internet is out the entire day.

Today, Thursday, I attempt to log on at about 9 AM EST to find that the password to the Shaman account is changed, along with the Paladin account.

I have no way to recall either account, and no way to contact him in-game; so I wait for him to log on AIM and explain.

He seemed like a very legit guy and I'd hate to misunderstand this; so I post here for you all.

I'm currently waiting for him to log on AIM, but by the minute I become more agitated.

I still have his day phone number and e-mail, so I think I'm going to call him.

Be wary, Markee Dragons, his AIM is tadersalad1234 and his MSN e-mail is [email protected].

Please, if you get an offer for a 68-69 Orc Shaman named Pubmaster on Chrommagus or 60 Undead Warrior on Cho'gall with a name similiar to Guatahulpa or 66 Male Paladin on Chrommagus, direct him to me, or try and ninja it back!

Again, I'm not taking any immediate action, but if I don't hear from him in the next few days, he can expect a lot of phone calls.

Thats old school. That was on a thread about a month ago and i laughed myself half to death when I heard it.

It's also illegal and could lead to harrasement charges, which carries jail time in most areas.
