Right, so I am relatively new on epicnpc. I bought a genshin account from a guy before for 25 USD (which was also my first purchase on here) and everything was perfect and the seller was super helpful. This got me to believe the sellers on this website are extremely trustworthy and nice. Since I am a reseller and sell accounts on a website called playerauctions (I am a reputed seller on there with over 200 positive feedbacks and 99.5% feedback rating), I wanted to buy more accounts. While browsing through the listings, I came across a very peculiar listing. The account on sale was absolutely awesome, It had a lot of things and it was clear that the account was whaled on. Anyway, the seller was asking 275 USD for it which was already a bargain so I decided to get in touch with him. When i tried negotiating with the seller he agreed to 225 USD which was almost too good to be true. Anyway, I was gonna pay through PayPal so didn't see the need for paying for a middleman as that would increase the price (My worst mistake probably). Anyway, so the seller wanted me to pay using PayPal F&F (Big red flag) to avoid the commission from PayPal which they charge you for regular payments. The thing with f&f is that you are not covered by PayPal buyer protecting for payments of that sort and hence are bound to lose your money with relatively no option to save yourself. My country does not support F&F so I paid 235 and covered the commissions. The seller gave me the login details promptly and everything was perfect when i logged in so I told the seller all is perfect (Again a big mistake). Then I logged in on mihoyo website to change the password and saw that the account was linked to some random Russian email (mail.ru). Even the website of the email is in Russian language. I asked the seller if he had his email linked and he said it was not and sent me a screenshot of the account being unlinked (which was obviously taken before he linked the email to his account). I told him to not screw with me and stuff so he changed the password of the account locking me out of it. Later he blocked me on discord too. I got in touch with PayPal and told them about this. PayPal opened a dispute for order not received to which I rectified and said I received the order but it was stolen back. So PayPal updated the case to Order is significantly different from what is described. Anyway, since I told the buyer all looks perfect on discord before I checked on mihoyo, the seller used that screenshot to prove to PayPal that everything was as described. I told PayPal what the case was but they told me that since I claimed myself that all looked good, they will have to close the case in favour of the seller. This guy is a blatant scammer and I would ask you not to buy from him. Also, always use middleman and never use PayPal f&f. All I can do is regret now but please save yourselves.
