DISPUTE Information
What is the dispute about? I paid $143.75 for 25 Krono that I never received
Link of transaction thread: Buying Krono $5.50 ea Up to 20 Krono
(I cannot include too many links or special characters or else my post will not go through)
Approximate value of property: $143.75 USD
Was a middleman used? No
Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it:
Waited over 2 hours. Asked him to send them to me like 10 times. Was usually ignored while he went on about a warrior account. Near the end of the conversation, he then begins to assume that he sent them at some point. I never received the 25 krono.

I had to make video's of the text messages on my cell phone in order to get them documented. There is a total of five videos which include the text message conversation that took place as well as verify his telephone number and show that I attempted to contact him by phone call twice when he was not sending the krono and he would not answer.
Here is the link to the first video, there are a total of 5:

After going over the video, he says fairly early that he is parceling. I receive nothing. Then he ignores all my requests to send. I tell him over and over im not interested in the warrior and to send the krono. Then after i start telling him that I have to contact the authorities, he says, he did nothing wrong. Then, after that, he states, "I am sending them", "Seeing if you want my warrior" which i had stated no thank you to multiple times. He never states he sent them, or asks me if I received them. He simply begins to state that I got my krono in a matter the fact manner toward the end. I left off the last text message by accident but in order to end things where I could no longer contact him, he informs me that if i contact him again he will contact the police.
I petitioned DayBreak Games to find out if they could verify that 25 Krono were not sent to Brygan. The response was if I have the name of supposed sender they could verify officially that no Krono were sent. I am not allowed to contact Everquest1999 but if you wouldnt mind asking him for the name of the character that he supposedly sent from on Luclin I will double check with them to get an official verdict as well.

Additional Information
Did you do any background searching before the transaction?
No. Only after i was scammed, I googled the phone number and two people have marked it as unsafe.
Have you traded with this person before? No
Approximately how many transactions have you done on EpicNPC? This was my first attempted transaction.
Now that I have been scammed, here is a list of red flags that i missed:
1) Slight increase in both price and quantity to sweeten the take. I looked at his ads and there was no real reason 25 was "required"
2) Associations with gangster/criminal mentality
paypal: [email protected] "Down" in my vocabulary is toward the ground.
3) Immediate use of terms of endearment. "Hi, Friend". Stranger automatically assuming a friend association.
4) Unneeded information to create image. "Helping a client" business. "Son is acting up" family. "Website for friends dad" Social.
5) Responses to multiple ads for different games/items/servers etc.
Tips on scam prevention:
1) Ask to trade in small quantities for security.
2) Ask to meet and see the items first.
3) Something i will always do from now on...ALWAYS TRADE MONEY OR ITEMS SECOND
4) Look for red flags
5) Find people with lots of positive feedback
6) Google all information about trader to search for any negative information like unsafe phone number.

Sure that would be great. I will buy them at that price. I have characters on Phinigel and Luclin or I can create a new character on a different server to meet in game. Please let me know when and where you would like to meet to do the transfer. Thanks.
