After speaking in a couple pm. We agreed on price for account on LoL.

It worked a bit for awhile but then I no longer could log-in, The account name was xxR3demption that is he hasn't changed name before re-selling it again, also the username was crazyblackman pass danny1

Now me being a beginner with pay-pal did not no that gifts we're not accounted for lost. So i can't even say it was en error as is was a gift. This d122002 guy "Let me know when you're ready. My paypal is [email protected] " insisted on it being a gift, so now I lost my money and no longer have the account on top it.

Just got the message from EpicNPC.

First of all--as for accusations by f9kh, I don't even know what to say to this. I have built quite of reputation on epvp (which I believe is the "other forum" you're referring to), and I have had more than enough successful trades on sythe to prove myself as a legit trader. Would like to see where you're coming from with this.

Now, back to business. The buyer has confirmed the delivery of the account--meaning, he has claimed full ownership of the account. I do not know if you are aware of this fact, but the way account management works at League of Legends allows one to claim full ownership of the account (by altering the password and registered email address) with just the account username and password. The buyer has gone through those security measures, as the following suggests:

Now, I am also aware of the fact that a League of Legends account could be recovered by the original owner through Riot Support. However, this procedure takes 3-7 days minimum. The buyer, however, informed me of allegedly having lost access to the account, in a span of less than a few hours:

why doesn't it work anymore???

Now, having dealt with all kinds of traders in multiple forums, I have come to known such buyers who wants the accounts but don't want to pay for them. I can't help but think this buyer is one of them.

Regards,
Danny.

--Update:

I believe I missed a point, so let me address the issue of the discrepancies between the two offers. Between the two times at which the offers were posted, I have had the privilege of obtaining the skin codes for Pax Jax and Pax Sivir from my friend, who had previously purchased the aforementioned skin codes on EBay. He redeemed them for his account on EU-W, and I redeemed them for this account in hopes of raising the value of the account. For the exact same purposes, I had been raising the elo rating of the account until the account was sold.

Can someone confirm it takes 3-7 to recover a LoL account?

d122002 can you contact Riot Game and recover this account anyway? The buyer is claiming he doesn't have it, so it shouldn't cause any issues by recovering it.

I will try again tonight to log on account and if it doesn't work again still, I will take all screen shots to prove I'm right. I don't see why it would take a whole week to switch passwords its your account.

https://support.leagueoflegends.com/entries/234190-recovering-your-account this site here explains the process of recovering the account.

Also I have added specific friends on the account so if they are no longer on there that is also proof as well if they have seem my account log in while I was not available.

WTF man. totally ****ed me over. cant log in now...

6h later. I tried for 1 hour to log back on it. still a no go.

It's easy to always blame others but I think I have more proof then he does. also if he is innocent then he should give me the original email account and password that this LoL account is merged too. That would prove his innocence

The only evidences the buyer is providing are ridiculously one-sided. They do not offer any validity, since anybody, even one with the access to the account, could take a screen-shot of obtaining the given error message. For the same reason, the point buyer has made about his friends on the friend list amounts to nothing.

Also, I purchased this account months ago from a seller on Playerauctions. The actual Playerauctions trade system was not used, since we opted out for a direct trade via MSN. Nonetheless, smooth transaction followed, and the account has not had any problems ever since. However, I do not have any of the information (Location you registered with, Email addresses you might have used to register, Your country of residence, etc.) needed to successfully recover the account.

I have noticed that even as I am writing, there are numerous games being played on the account. That being said, I would like to repeat certain points:
1. Buyer has claimed full ownership of the account.
2. In less than 7 hours, buyer claims the account was recovered.
3. I am not the original owner. Neither do I have the information needed to successfully recover the account.
4. The recovery process, last time I checked, takes a number of days. Definitely not 7 hours.

Regards,
Danny.

Sorry I don't have a 3 cameras recording to prove this photo was taken with the password given and now because it wasn't your original account you didn't take measure to completely make sure it would stay yours. Because you can't tell LoL you bought the account now I have no way of recovering this account either. You to cam claim it'd one sided but your defense doesn't show anything at all. In fact I urge anybody to try and log in with the information you gave me.

I'm trying to be civil here but it seems impossible with you.

It has been months since I bought the account, and nothing has ever happened to it. Yet, the implication here is that the original owner recovered the account through Riot support, and it just happen to have occurred merely 6 hours after you purchased the account. Anybody who has had experience with League of Legends support can verify that the process can be prolonged over a span of days, if not weeks.

As much as the given circumstances could not prove either party of this transaction, I, regrettably, can't help but think you're just trying to, for the lack of other terminology, scam out accounts from legitimate sellers.

Well do you have the info on the original seller then? You obviously had changed password so I feel like you also could have changed the email account as well. I mean why change one and not both and if it was the original seller who claimed his account back all you do is say you forgot password at log in and you get sent a new one to the linked E-mail and that doesn't take days.

Banned - failed to resolve scam thread - http://www.epicnpc.com/active-disputes/464579-scammed-d122002-4.html
I do know the email address of the original owner.

You got the account username and password, that means you claim full ownership of the account. If you really have not changed the linked email address to the account, then it should still be my email address that is linked to the account. I tried password recovery through https://na.leagueoflegends.com/account/recovery/password and I did not get a recovery link in my inbox. Stories don't add up here.

This is what you just wrote. I did not have a clue until yesterday while chatting with another person looking to sell his account mentioned you could actually change pass and emails to the account. Furthermore your last statement doesn't reflect your prior statement.

3. I am not the original owner. Neither do I have the information needed to successfully recover the account.

So here you can't successfully recover the account yet you just said that if I didn't change anything you could have.

If there is something that doesn't add up is your last 2 statements as you said the complete opposite in them.

From what I read it seems like it was highly possible for the OO to recall the account. And if what d122002 says is true(it takes up to 7 days to recall a lol account) the person could have initiated the recall days before the account was sold to IrAl0ln00b.

Just my two cents.

Banned - failed to resolve scam thread - http://www.epicnpc.com/active-disputes/464579-scammed-d122002-4.html
I assumed and, with all justice to do so, believed that you changed the password and the email address linked to the account. If that's the case, I, not being the original owner, could not have recovered the password.

However, once again, I did not receive any password recovery mails in the email account that was previously linked to the account that I sold you. Not to mention, who in their sensible mind buys an account and fails to change the password and email account? I don't know if I believe that.

it was my first time doing so.

Also you keep trying to say I am scamming you yet, you fail to prove anything. I after message and message show something with point while you just try and accuse me of being in the wrong.

Like I stated you said two different things in two messages, now maybe you did not get the message but how do I know you didn't also re-sell the account at the same time and the next person decided to switch everything as well.

Banned - failed to resolve scam thread - http://www.epicnpc.com/active-disputes/464579-scammed-d122002-4.html
As much as you can't prove that I scammed you, I can neither disprove you nor prove that you are trying to scam me.

For all I know, the email address linked to the account has been changed (hence the lack of any recovery emails I am getting through my email address), and someone is on the account, playing multiple games a day.

Well it isn't me. I only have a Desktop with no internet, I work 9-5 1h drive there and back.

Someone if not you, nor me must of hacked it and changed the stuff. Last night I was able to check once more if I could log in only because my buddy left me his lap top and I used my phone and tethered to gain access just to see if it worked. that`s when I took the photo.

If we both are right then there's a serious problem.. I have sent a message to Lol Support claiming a ''friend'' gave me his account and I put down the original info on it, saying that i believe it was hacked because neither of us is getting the recovery password messages.

If that is the case then possible someone hacked onto or saw either of our messages with the info on it?

Banned - failed to resolve scam thread - http://www.epicnpc.com/active-disputes/464579-scammed-d122002-4.html
If all this is true, I could reach the original owner of the account, and hopefully he can initiate a recovery process through Riot support. I don't think "Riot I got hacked" is going to work with just the username and password. It's been months since I contacted the original owner, but hopefully he will be cooperative. I cannot guarantee you anything though.

You are right that someone has been playing a lot, , here's another thing about me I have another account also with this exact name on LoL. you can see i mostly play AD or support though played i cpl of Malph jungle or top also.

This user is only and always playing Ap Mid

I also said I was looking for the answers to my questions not the info. I just want to know what is going on. If you can also send a support to Riot claiming the same thing I did then maybe that could help speed up the process and perhaps put everything back the way it should be.

btw I asked you a question in your PM. I thought it be a better to not post the complete answer on the public page

I have found new info after viewing the time zone from games last played I can say that the player is from the western time zone. I have 3h difference with him. I am est time. live in Ottawa,Canada well that's the big city nearest to me.

If anybody wants proof of that just check when was the last time i was online, if not IrAl0ln00b then check out IrBaDl0l they are 0 like 3,2,1..

If you cannot recover an account you should not be selling it. Or you must tell the buyer you have no info to recover it and will not be able to help if anything happens. If they agreed, then you'd be fine.

I have every information you need to claim full ownership of the account.
If the buyer cannot recover the account themselves, they do NOT have full ownership of the account.

It has been months since I bought the account, and nothing has ever happened to it.
How do I know if this is true? Whats the PA auction URL so I can see it? Whats the username of the person you bought it from? Whats their email? PM me this info

IrAl0ln00b, are you saying you didn't change the password or email after you got the account?

d122002, even if IrAl0ln00b did something stupid like not changing the email/pass or even IF he was scamming you, all you need to do is recover the account. When you say you are unable to, that puts the blame on you. You need to contact the OO and get their help to recover this account.

Also, I purchased this account months ago from a seller on Playerauctions. The actual Playerauctions trade system was not used, since we opted out for a direct trade via MSN. Nonetheless, smooth transaction followed, and the account has not had any problems ever since.

Like aforementioned, the trade took place on MSN a long time ago. Even though I have come to know the seller through his post in Playerauctions, he was unresponsive when I tried to grab hold of the account on Playerauctions. It wasn't until weeks after that he replied, not through Playerauctions, but through email, from which we proceeded to trade on MSN. The ELO was 800 at the time of the purchase, and I painstakingly raised it to 1520 in months time. I did research on the account before I bought the account, and learned that the seller had not played on the account for months. To me, that indicates that the account is safe. Surely enough, I have never encountered any problem with the account.

The idea that the original owner initiated the recovery process days before this account sales and just happened to have recovered it 6 hours after the transaction took place seems rather absurd. After all, if the OO meant to take the account back for himself, it could have been anytime between the time he sold me the account, and the time I sold this account. Also, if the buyer has, in fact, not changed the email address linked to the account, I should be getting recovery emails prompted from https://na.leagueoflegends.com/account/recovery/password. Yet, I repeat--I have not received any recovery emails.

So EpicNPC, you're telling me that the mere fact that I am incapable of recovering the account puts me at a disadvantage? I do not have any false claims in my sales post. I said I have all the information needed to claim full ownership of the account, which is true, to a degree, since password recovery emails go to the email linked to the account. I can understand that it could have caused some equivocation, but I don't see it as a false claim. Never did I mention in the sales post that I am the original owner.

As much as I find this whole matter displeasing, I am willing to help the buyer, ah, "re-gain" access to the account. I will do everything I can to reach the original owner.

Yes, this has come up many many times and if the seller has no information to recover an account, they are at fault. The reason being is because of what I said above. How do I know you just didn't sell it and took it back a few hrs later and are playing dumb? I don't and this is why sellers have to be able to recover the account or they are at fault.

Unless of course it is told upfront to the buyer the account is unrecoverable and they still agree to buy it.

With all honesty, you can't. Just as neither one of us have a way of knowing if this buyer has actually failed to change the password or the email account.

You are the boss here. If you don't acknowledge this type of account re-sale, I guess I will have to take my business somewhere else. However, I would appreciate it if you can quote such terms in the official set of rules you have. Anything that pertains to the fact that a re-seller of an account has to dictate such matter.

That is correct I did not change anything. We are currently trying to resolve this matter and I am trying to catch the guy online if we accepts my invite to see wth is going on.

- - - Updated - - -

also to add I just literally figured out how to change pass. I though you could do it on the gaming page but it is only on the website. yes that is how stupid I am but I never had too worry about it before so never took the time to fully check all of it out.

Even if IrAl0ln00b was trying to scam you and is lying about the account password being changed, if you recovered it, the dispute would be solved. Again this is why sellers must be able to recover the accounts the sell.

I'll give a few more days for you guys to try to resolve this. IrAl0ln00b please update this by the end of the weekend if there is no progress or refund.

I refuse to give any refund for an account I have sold. You're now asking for at least half-refund of the purchase. Well, I don't have at least half of the account, so there won't be any refunds.

I am doing everything I could to reach the OO.

I'm sure there are plenty of sellers out there that sell accounts for which they do not have the information to recover them. If this is something you guys take a stand against, then maybe you should have it stated somewhere.

I know neither of these people, I just like reading these things.

As an outside source, I can confirm that it does take 3-7 days to recall a League account. I've had to do it myself when a friend decided to "hack" me.

Not sure if my word means anything here, but take it for what it's worth.

Will do, I can now see won't get any refund no matter what it seems. I am asking for half of it back, yes I don't have the account but neither do you, in fact you can't recover it so technically you should have 0$ for not being to fully protect the account you sold me and assumed the OO would never play again. I think asking half for it back isn't even fair for me how ever I am trying to make a deal where neither of us win nor lose. I don't get the account and you still make 65$. I mean how does that sound unfair to you??

Unbelievable.
Is an unbiased, professional administrator too much to ask?

I've sold 3 account on this forum, the rest haven't had any problems. That's about to change.

Have a good day.
