Q: Refunds?

I sold a beta account on the "Beta Key- Codes" fourm to a buyer over a month ago (May 30th was the transaction date). He contacted me today saying that the account got banned and is asking for a refund. As a seller am i suppose to give him a refund in this situation? I would rather it not become a dispute so i'm just trying to figure out if I really need to return his payment.

it depends if he got the account banned or not as if he got it banned then you are not responsible in refunding him. Sometimes thats the hardest thing to prove though

was it just a beta code you gave him or an account with beta access? that will also make a difference.

If it was a beta key or account, he most likely violated the NDA.

I mean as to why his account would be banned. That is about the only reason I could think a beta account would get axed.

FF14 ARR for example takes the NDA seriously and so does the beta community. If the guy posted a video to Youtube or a picture that showed his character name it would be closed.
