Hey Guys, Making this thread about 3 scammers that I have come across to make sure everyone here is safe. If you want to talk containing more information about these guys, my discord is Russell#5636.
Name of these Scammers are shown in the Pictures Provided

Here are how each one of these guys scammed:
Gone#3072 - This person is an interesting case, seeming VERY reliable. He searches through your comments on other posts. He claims to be a re-seller and will show you reviews on a different site, containing all perfect reviews. This person will use this as "Validity" to gain your trust, but at the end of the day he WILL just keep taking the same Screen Shots of the Original Sellers and he WILL carry on PRESSURING you over and over again. Trying to push the sale. Thankfully, I found the original owner of the account after 2 attempts from this person, if you want PROOF of this scam again contact me on my discord (I have Screenshots and Conversations between the original owner of the account)


Mark#3339 - Same as the person above but least reliable. He again shows the same Screenshots on the Orginal Owner's account, though he didn't push back a ton (I stalled, seemed fishy). Again I have Screenshots, and conversations between the original owner if you want. Discord Me.

thanghuynh99#4930 - Now this *****/PRICK. Seemed nice from the start but you will slowly lose contact with him, when I was trying to get this account for a week his contact time diminished slowly to only one response per 2 days. In this time he had changed his name 3 TIMES leaving me to believe he had also scammed more people while we were in contact, after getting what he wanted (35 USD = Around 50 NZD, converted to PS4 Gift Card) this is how much I lost due to this person. I also received a response from someone else that this person doesn't use the discord provided in his post (Majesty#4579) leading me to this discord., again leaving me to believe that he has another person in on it.

PLEASE WATCH OUT. TRY AND USE MIDDLEMAN IF YOU WANT OR WAIT FOR A LITTLE BIT AND SEE IF THERE IS A SIMILAR ACCOUNT.
I'm willing to help whoever reads this on seeing if the person they are buying is legit, be it me searching through this website to see if anything is similar or more. Please, I've been scammed but I don't want you guys to be, HMU Russell#5636

Smoochie you should add this part in every thread of yours and tell people to message you before selling/buying something.

I saw this dude few days ago. He also sent me your profile and kept trying to tell me he won't go first and that I have lower reputation so I should go first.
When I told him he used nitro discord and that he might be scammer, he snapped at me and stopped talking. I tried checking your thread to see if you mention anything about it, but anyway, I'm glad I was careful and checking, and that I never agreed to go first without official site's mm *shrug*

 

This same fake Smoochie person scammed me as well with the exact same method. So dirty and I feel genuinely bad for the real Smoochie.

Hey guys,

I really enjoy seeing the community coming together and keeping everyone up to date, but let's always remember a few things.

• Most people that are using new discord accounts are likely to have already been banned from the forums and cannot register a new account to message you.
• If you are contacted via a 3rd party, I would always still recommend confirming communications with that user on the forums even if it's just to confirm msg-to-msg to ensure everyone is who they say.
• By confirming with the site, you each can give each other feedback after the purchase and build rapport on the forums. Even if that's not's wanted, it's a gateway to securing the purchase.
• Never send friends and family via paypal as you'll normally never get a refund if the worst happens, even if you can prove you were being scammed. This can normally be avoided by using paypal goods and services which has insurances. If they won't wanna use that, they're likely a scammer.
• If you do ever get scammed, and it's via discord without and forum communication, consider it a hard lesson learned and also know that the user will normally retire a scam account after a week or so or change their name, so trying to let other know their handle will just go out of date fast, and this list would get very long, very fast.
• If you get scammed by someone that you've confirmed their information on the forums then you should check out https://www.epicnpc.com/forums/active-disputes.142/ and read over all the sticky threads and start the process.

Long story short, always use the forums to sell anything that has any worth in your opinion.

Back at it, with exposing scammers LOL. Sure has been a while...

Story:
steebun was selling an account, the FAKE Smoochie approached him on his discord requesting if the account was still up for sale. After negotiation, they came to an agreement that the FAKE Smoochie will buy the account of him. Going through PayPal (no middleman was used for this transaction since previously steebun has only dealt with genuine buyers), the FAKE Smoochie was able to trick his inexperience against him for him to send the account first.

The use of; "you go first though, you only have 3 feedback while I have 52 so I can't risk going first, sorry" || "I mind xD, many people lie and send fake screenshots of "Receipts" and etc fully using the REAL Smoochie's name to make it seem that he can be trusted.

When being asked about the Middleman method, the FAKE Smoochie exploited steebun's inexperience being unwilling to explain him the method of how it works, making it sound a lot more complicated then they actually are and with the use of EpicNPC post https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/paypal-permanently-disabled.1876461/.

1. The biggest giveaway that this was an actual scammer impersonating Smoochie, is that there has been (In this month alone) 2 false feedback given to Smoochie because of this FAKE Smoochie.

2. Discord ID and Discord Names are very different, but both aren't very easy to see. The MAIN difference that allowed the FAKE Smoochie to make this discord account is the difference in the "oo" in their names... this is hard to point out since on Discord it doesn't show that they are different in the names.

Discord ID is hidden... but I would recommend that you find out how to find someone's Discord ID since they won't be able to change it unlike their tag (with Discord Nitro) and name.

I have a post saying im looking for a specific genshin impact account and this guy messages on discord that he got from the post I made and tried to sell me an account that isnt even listed on epic npc. He used screenshots from another post and when i told him i wasn't interested he removed me as a friend AND deleted the screenshots.

Getting scammed once, fair, everyone messes up at some point.

But at the end of the day, saving a few bucks isn't worth it. Sure, there are some deals cheap enough that it is worth taking the risk, but honestly, i think most victims are just way too impulsive and want their account asap and become too trusting of the first good deal that comes their way. There will always, always be better legit deals later.

and some legit sellers are totally unprofessional and I wouldn't want to deal with them anyway (like freaking out if the buyer asks more than like 2-3 questions), but that's another matter.

You should NEVER beg/repeatedly contact a "seller" (legitimate or not) to buy an account, ever, no matter what.
This is a buyer's market with thousands of sellers selling variations of the same thing. No seller who is an *******/rude/unresponsive/makes weird demands (even if they are legit) is worth your time, let alone your money.
message once, give them a day tops, move on.
No feedback here, don't even waste your time.
It's an account ffs. There is nothing any vendor is selling you can't get from someone legit and trustworthy and easy to deal with.

Impersonation can be funny at times, especially when someone's story starts to crumble near the end with the big ol' block when found out, I quote him "If we can meet up, I won't be able to run" as he ran away from me and Moon enjoyed our little moment of 3 hours... trying to talk with this guy.

The way we found out was by going on the REAL person on the EpicNPC and just searching through old reviews and messages to see if the story connected.. it clearly didn't mention the difference in the use of older connections (Middleman). With the name of "KingKano" as a potential middleman for this deal, again I would like to mention to look up the history of these names that are being used since "KingKano" has also an impersonator since there were "allegations" of him scamming but it just turned out of being another impersonator.

Hey! Just a small tip for you guys. There is a discord for exposing these scammers. This discord is solely deemed and made to have a complete list of every single scammer recorded. Personally I’ve already reported two and both was accepted by their staff and community members. I recommend you guys also report them to the community discord.

The third person loves to change their name. This time GameSupply#4930

And I've been told and shown that people can change the number tag on their discord with the use of DISCORD NITRO, the person in question is Honda#1234... changed her name to "KillerQueen" or something like the that.

 

Hey Guys,
Another person has reached out to me... saying that he has scammed him out of 290 USD. The scammer in question is avon#7235, from what I've seen it seemed like the scammer provided him ss with a "FAKE" account, showing a UID number starting with "1" since the scammer said it was an NA account that the person was wanting to purchase... Then when he received the money like usual they Blocked Him and ran.

This seems like a short one if you need the whole story/more context please contact this person Turnipy#8388 since he was the person who was in effect.
