This is pertaining to something which happend on wowtrade.dk (I am fully aware its nothing to do with everyone here). But I think it should be brought to peoples attention.

It happend to me sometime this month (really cant be bothered to look at date), but basically someone who i've never seen/heard/spoken to left me negative feedback about recalling money or something. And thats it..-1 feedback, no chance to do anything else but leave a negative on the other persons account with an explanation.

Two things I guess, 1) why in the name of bruce wayne would you do that, what can you possibly gain except a odd feeling in your twisted imitation soul that your an awesome excuse for a living, breathing collection of organs which would be put to better use as hannibal lecters dinner.

2) Would this happen on mmobay? or are there precautions to reduce the chance?

Im not really as mad as I sound, just quite bored at work, I know some other people who deal on multiple forums may of experienced the same, so feel free to share stories, tips and information.

I've never experienced it but here on MMObay you have the chance to dispute the negative feedback. If a mod finds that no trade had been done OR someone left a "revenge feedbacK" then the negative feedback will be removed.

There isn't a whole lot of precautions that can be taken. MMOBay requires a URL link to the trade in order for a feedback to be added, but anyone could link any thread from the forums here. But since feedback can be disputed, there is no need to worry as long as you didn't do anything.

It just shows the difference between sites I guess. Nice to have a helpful naga for once instead of having to kill them whilst questing :D

I believe that 'itrader' allows URLs to be referenced. That makes it pretty easy for someone to say, "Wait, someone gave me a negative, and they didn't reference any thread where they bought something I was offering."
I think itrader can be set so that a URL is even 'required'.

If fake FB ever becomes a problem, either + or -, they'll take care of it with a few quick changes to the system.
