That would be a lot of new badges. Can you post a screenshot of these year badges on ebay? I can't seem to find any sellers that have them.
All profiles have "Join Date" info already included, so I'm not sure how useful adding these year badges will be since this info is already available.
I think it might be a little overwhelming to include yearly badges, then more badges for the types of services sellers offer. It could become confusing to new members if everyone had 3-10 badges on their account.
I was planning on updating the current badges with new popup info boxes that provides more info about each badge, so that should help with the current confusion.
We're also going to update feedback this year again. The update last year made it a little easier, but we're still getting complaints, so there will be another update for this later this year.

This restriction is only for new members. Once you have 5 feedback, it's lifted.

On the side note i got a sweet idea that shouldnt be too much trouble to implement. Basically Feedback badge. make like 4 badges, on 100,200,500,1k feedbacks. Next badge always replaces the previous one so it wont be messed up. Example.
100 FB- lvl 1 badge (give it some cool name)
200 FB- Lvl 2 badge (replace the first badge, again some cool name)
and so on.
Of course you can think out about the milestones. it can be 200,300,500,1k or however you find it fitting.
Just add it to the current badge system with a mouse hover text.
This shouldnt be hard to implement?
What do you think?

MiddlemanI disagree. The existence of the "Trusted" badge for having 50 FB is enough, as the marginal benefit from each additional FB decreases as the number of FB a user has increases. Thus, there's no need to have a badge to represent certain milestones in feedback count when one can just look at that user's FB/vouch count. Given two users with 50 and 500 FB, there's a negligible difference, if any, in the probability of them performing a negative action like scamming someone.
I disagree.
If I remember correctly, majority of high repped members who I've seen cash out their rep, were between 50 and 200. I remember only one who had around ~270, but he came back after a few months and repaid it.
Don't remember seeing anyone above 300 who turned into a scammer.
There's actually a pretty big difference between 50 and 500 feedback.
Having multiple levels on the trusted badge is not really a bad idea. As long as every level upgrades the previous one, members can still have 6 maximum badges.

Administratormaybe an email icon could be added? Along with the skype, discord, facebook, etc. that shows under your name in a post. I've seen a few posts where people just contact through email.

AdministratorShort term, it would require a large update to the sticky system to make it work correctly and our to-do list is currently very long. Longer term, I'm concerned about creating a "Cashout" method for credits via ad purchases. We stopped credit cashouts due to the high risk of Paypal chargebacks, so allowing members to buy ads would re-introduce that risk. Why not? Although you might initially lose money, it'd be a huge sink for credits and drastically increase demand for them, making them a lot easier to sell = more people start using credits
How about moving "Edit Post" option to top where are?

This is seriously good suggestion by Misty. I would love to see that. Each time i have to edit my thread i have to scroll down 2 minutes to get to that edit button.
I think sellers would protest against this. Many veteran sellers have scam threads against them due to impersonators scamming off-site. Or disputes where the user opened a dispute too quickly, but it was resolved quickly. In cases like this, it would hurt the sellers reputation. I don't really like the idea, sorry.I was looking around in Disputes and noticed there isn't a tag signifying that a user has an active market dispute against them. Such a tag can commonly be found on other trading websites (sometimes with a link to the dispute as well) and reduces the likelihood that a scammer can rip off multiple people before being banned.

There's an edit button on every post, you only have to scroll to the post to edit it, not to the bottom of the page. I'm not sure what you guys are talking about with this. Every post has an Edit button, so it can't be moved to the top bar, otherwise only the 1st post would be editable. Every post needs to have an edit button.

Longer term, I'm concerned about creating a "Cashout" method for credits via ad purchases. We stopped credit cashouts due to the high risk of Paypal chargebacks, so allowing members to buy ads would re-introduce that risk.
When we get a credit chargeback now and lose, we eat the lose. Members don't lose their credits. If we cashout the credits, we lose double the money. First we lose the revenue from the initial purchase, 2nd we lose the money we cashed out to someone. So if we lose a $100 Paypal chargeback, we're really losing $200.
If we allowed credits for sticky threads the same risk would be there, however instead of losing money, we would be losing advertising space. Although that's basically the same thing since that space could have been sold to someone else.
