Maybe there should be a rule where if you had a certain amount if disputes against you in a certain time frame, you should have a TWC for a certain amount of time. even if they got resolved.
 
It's hard to keep track of things like that, however we're normally add a TWC warning for all members if they have a dispute. The only times we don't do this is if it's a well known seller with good feedback or with upgrades. In many of these cases the victim got scammed by an impostor or it's resolved fairly quickly, so we don't want to put a negative warning on the seller's account, but if the member is new, we always add the warning.

There's a possible bug? I've had the experience, clicking Purchase on 750 credit Unlimited Edit Time instantly buys one, but I clicked accidentaly 2 times, it ate 750×2 credits, and it showed as 1 buyout on VBshop at profile. Support gave me back 750 after I insisted that they check again and calculate how could 750 just dissapear. Anyway, add confirm buttor, or just make it "1 time buy" possible. Anyway it's a leak where credits dissapear and it just seems a bit shady
 
You purchased 2 items, but then you discarded one of them. When the CM checked your account he only saw one because he only checked your inventory. Since you delete one item, he only saw one. Your transaction log however showed you did buy 2, so you received credits back for one item.
 
There is a display bug at the moment where the bottom half of name such as join date posts feedback score and so on does not get displayed until you refresh the page, it happens once out of 5-10 times, sometimes i get asked why i have no feedback because they don't see it until they refresh the page. I am assuming its a bug but just wanted to let you know :)
 
Hi, i would like to suggest changing is the disbursement process.
We pay 12% fee in your site using Trade Guardian (commission/handling fee) and after we withdrew in site credits to paypal we get another fee from them (paypal).
Please make way that we don't get fee on paypal anymore other site i used doesn't do this.
 
Paypal will always have it's own fees. There's really nothing we can do. When member buy credits via Paypal, we also lose money.

$100 credits purchased - We receive about $96 from Paypal.
If someone cashes out the $100 of credits, we have to pay $100.
That means we lose $4 for the credit purchase, then another $4 for the cashout. This is why the fee is 12% because we also lose a lot of money through Paypal, plus we have to cover the risk of chargebacks.

It's impossible to lower the fee when using Paypal.

That said, we are going to be updating the Trade Guardian system before the end of the year. It will be for bitcoin only and the fee will be dropping to 3%.
 
I'm sorry, I Made a thead referring to this. But here is what I think.

Add more forums and Sub forums.
I am browsing around. And mostly is just all Selling Sub-forums and forums. Yeah its good for business. But I personally would like to see some Sport sections some Console discussions, Favourite movie or song section. Just a bunch of little stuff. It would be good.​

1. Implement animated gifs for avatars and profile if possible. (Store item)

2. Increased forum color schemes

3. Removal of the "Post Thanks / likes" system under user posts. It's bugged in private messages already. REPLACE with credits form where you can view users current credits and transfer/buy field. I think we had this before a few months ago.

4. "Block system" to stop receiving private messages from certain people. (except mods/smods/admins) :)

5. Remove Groups and Permission Groups since it seems useless and inactive.

6. Adding a credit lottery system with daily payout to winner(s). This would help boost the incentive to purchase credits, store items and trade guardian. Pot winner(s) split and get taxed a certain percent or none at all. I wouldn't mind gambling a few dollars every now and then. It's fun and attractive.[HIDE=2000](Similar to D2JSP)[/HIDE]

7. Switching Users credits tab when viewing profiles. Move from "About Me" section to the left side of the profile, where it's always view-able regardless of which profile tab you're on. This makes it easy to send people credits as gifts or for currency/accounts without using Trade Guardian. It's hidden away and needs some spotlight. Trade Guardian should be used for sketchy transactions whereas upgraded members can freely send/receive credits with ease.

8. Emblem system with different tier levels for people who buy credits. Emblem could always to the display to the left of usernames except on "Who's online" list and some other areas (maybe private messages) where it's not needed. Would need to find a way to stop cash-out abuse for emblem on this though.

#1 I'll look into this

#2 This would be a big change since we have a lot of custom code pages that would have to be updated. It's been considered, but probably won't happen for a while.

#3 Many members like the "like" button and we'll have it fixed for PMs in the next update. We had a bunch of requests from members asking to hide the credit field, they didn't want others to know how many credits they had, so we did. There's really no reason to display credit totals publicly, so to save space in the post profile area, this probably won't be returning.

#4 is already available. Settings > Ignore List

#5 I've considered removing groups multiple times, but some members are using it and since it doesn't really affect anything else, I decided to just leave it.

#6 I'll consider this.

#7 Credits still display on the 'about page', this was left to make it easier for admins to view credits when an issue comes up. Credits transfers between members was disabled months ago, so the only way to transfer credits is through Trade Guardian.

#8 most likely this won't be added. Badges already stack and some members who have 5-6 badges have very large profile areas in posts. We'll probably remake the badge system in 2017 to use smaller images and to better stack the images so they don't use up so much space.

I've still had private messages come through from people who I've ignored in the past. One particular person I posted about in staff section where the guy asked for repeated edits.
 
After you enter the code, the system asks you the "authenticate your device". If you keep getting the security message it means you keep skipping this step.

Authenticator your device, then you will no longer be asked for the security code when using that device even if your IP address changes.

You can do it now also, go to Tools in the top menu then "authenticate device"
 
I don't want use Authenticator, about authenticate your device, I know about it.
whether it is possible to turn off for me personally? why you do not give the right to choose? like steam guard I can turn off\on.
 
On Steam if your account gets compromised, only you are at a loss. Here, other members might end up getting scammed if someone compromises your account. :)
 
Why don't you want to authenticate your device? Its just a cookie that's saved in your browser and it takes 5 seconds to complete.

There's really no reason why you can't do that. It's basically the same thing as the "remember me" box when you log into your account so you don't get logged out after 5 mins. It's the exact same mechanism.

About cookies, I do not use them, they are always destroyed

With Authenticator leak IP. I try use it, I always use TOR (only DE) and with authenticator my "Location Info" was written Russian Federation (probably my VPN IP).
Accordingly, I concluded that my device is connected via WiFi + VPN = leak VPN IP.

Please turn off your VPN. We do not allow them and it's a bannable offense.

Unfortunately you will have to enter the security code every time you visit the site if you do not use cookies.
 
The use of proxies, virtual private networks (VPN) and other IP anonymity usages are NOT allowed on the forums. Use of them is cause for account closure.

You agree to our rules when you register. So if you are going to continue to use a VPN, most likely you'll end up banned for it. We do plan to make a slight change to this in the future, but we're still working out the details. For now, no VPNs are allowed.

just wondering how do you know whether a person uses a vpn? you'll scan ip each user? you try check real ip with WebRTC\JavaScripts (you probably know about NoScripts plugins etc.?) funny, I would like to look at it in the future.

As stated we do not allow VPNs here. The main reason we don't allow them is to block scammers. Since you are already verified and have feedback, we know you're not a scammer, however it makes it difficult to determine if someone's account was compromised if all the IPs are VPN. This happens from time to time, so we need to see real IPs.

As stated we are going to make an update to this rule early next year, so as requested your account has been closed until we decide what the new rules are. You can wait until then or you can contact support if you agree to stop using a VPN for now.
 
Feature:Notication for every new thread in a forum.
I know you said that it will cause too much email traffic but i think when people decide to get updated that frequently they might be ok with the email "spam"
 
1. I would like to suggest, after seller confirms the delivery, buyer will have several notification/days to confirm or it will be automatically confirmed by the system.
Right now i got orders waiting for the buyers to be confirmed, i contacted them but their not online.

2. Allow us to use credits to buy " sticky thread " and more thread options using credits since we are unable to cash-out them now. Payment from paypal and bitcoin is another option.

1) If you delivered an item and they're not confirming after a few days, you can report the transaction. We'll ask you for proof of delivery and we'll contact the buyer to confirm. If they don't confirm within 48 hrs, we'll complete the transaction and you'll get the payment.

2) Most likely credits will never be used for sticky threads or banner ads since integrating the credit system into those systems isn't an easy thing to do. Aside from the store, we are going to expand trading options for many games in the very near future where credits will be the primary way to trade. We will be rolling this out this week and over the next few weeks many games will receive new 'credit trading' forums.
 
I was thinking, maybe add a hover box over the Badges so that Members can see what Group you're in.

I just think it would be a cool little feature and would also make the Groups easier to see on Threads/Profiles.

P.S: There is a slight bug when choosing to 'Quote' a reply on various Threads.
Sometimes when you Quote a reply, it will not let you press the space bar on your keyboard.
 
I love the new rank bandes and images but, Some new users might not have an idea what those Images are. They just look like badges probably a text that would show up when someone hovers t the images or badges like " Verified " etc.

This is a bug specific to Chrome browers. If you click the A/A icon in the tool bar it will fix it, but we'll try to implement a fix for it also in the near future.
 
When you temp. ban someone then please give others some additional info about why they got banned. People just see the word banned and they are immediately scared off.
 
OK i got a serious suggestion, im not sure why no one came up with this before. Ok so here it goes. I have more than 400 threads. Some of which have high amount of comments and views. They are made long ago and they are buried at the 7th page on "latest started threads" list. So if i need to get to that thread i have to scroll my but off to find it. Than i just make a comment to the thread so it bumps it on "my activity" page. So its easy reachable for me. And than after some time as i make new threads and bump old ones it gets buried again on the 7th page. And than i have to do it all over again. And im not talking about one thread here. I talk about 4-5 at least.
Im sure people will find it great if they can choose which of their threads they want to have quick access to. Dont get me wrong. Recent activity page is great and works as it should. Possible solution to my issue would be to make a new tab, for example in the middle of "recent activity" and "feedback" tab. Name it, for example" Sticky threads " or something like that. Basically users will be able to choose threads that they want to be visible in that tab always without disappearing and getting replaced with other threads. This option would make my life so much easier as im sure other users will agree.

Now tell me this aint good idea? Im not sure if this is even possible to accomplish tho :) I tried to explain the best i can, let me know what you think:)

We already added a system so members can easily keep track and received notifications for all of their important threads.

At the top right of all your threads there is a "bookmark" icon (yellow). If you click that it will ask you what type of notifications you want to receive when someone replies to the thread.

These threads will then appear on your subscription page where you can view info like views, replies, last post and also manage your notifications for all the threads.

The 8 most recent active threads will also appear in the sidebar for quick access.

Very useful feature, but if you have any suggestions on improvements to it once you start using it, please let me know.

I don't know if this could be added but if a member visits another members profile (and their time-zone is set under settings)
The buyer could see what the current local time is at the sellers location, depending on which country he/she is from so that way it could be easier to imagine when both parts could be online at same time in a possible deal.

For example, it's morning at where person X lives and it's evening where the person Y lives, because of the time-zones.
Most likely people are online daytime and up until late evening.

Yes, you could check it over internet (google) aswell if you go under Location Info and copy/paste the country/city that is showed but for my suggestion it would be a faster way to check that up if you visit the members profile or enable the chat.

Most times the local time are displayed on Skype but there is probably members who prefer using EpicNPC inbuild chat system when making a sale/purchase and doesn't use Skype.

No idea if this idea could could ever be enabled but hey just an idea worth suggesting.

I'm sorry if this suggestion didn't come out good.

Can we improve the I-trader system?
I often leave feedback after a sell/trade.
I currently left 54 feedbacks to users and only recieved 42 wich is quite borring...
Can we make a system like: when someone recieved a feedback, he HAVE (like phone authentificator) or daily recieved an auto-PM awnsering him to rate the trade?

When someone gets feedbacks, they already get a notification saying they received feedback and a link to give feedback to the other user. We can add another notification to ask again incase the user doesn't give one, but it might be a while before we get to this.

Yes it's a very good idea. A second notification as a reminder what the member expects a feedback from a successful transaction.

Yeah true that! When you want to mention another members name in a post then you could write down @Member and it gets highlighted, right?

Usually when I post in a random thread I always write down their username first but if we did @Member it would be highlighted automatically.
