50 posts per page load would significantly increase server load if it was default.
50 posts/page was already removed as a custom option some time ago, 30 is the new maximum.
We are nearing the limit of what our dedicated server can handle in terms of traffic and server load. Sometime later this year we will have to add a second server and start load balancing as the site continues to grow.

I'm talking about the feedbacks per page, in the feedbacks list, not posts per page in topics.
Ok another 2cent idee.
I noticed that you can close your thread when editing and what not. But even when you do people stil contact you even tough you stated SOLD in your last post.
Why not when you close your thread have a small dropdown box next to it with some reasons why you want to close it?
* SOLD
* NO LONGER SELLING
* NO REASON
* ....
And then change the topic title according to the choice?

Is there any way to edit multiple replies at once? If not, any chance we can implement somethig like that?
What I mean is, from time to time i get new ideeas about how my signature should look or how my 'bump' posts should look and after i decide, i literally have to edit every reply and change it manually. I noticed that every reply has a number ID so im thinking that you could add a filter of sorts and an option to edit multiple replies at once, based on the #number? Would be very less-time-consuming.

That i didnt know, thanks. Sill, it applies as far as replies go. I just changed my 'bump' replies and i had to manually edit all of them. When i do that again - which im sure i will cuz new ideeas show up - it is very time consuming to manually edit them. An option to edit certain # replies would be useful.
Edits are a server intense process, so if someone is updating 20, 30, 40+ posts at once it could crash the server or at the very least create slowdown. It's much easier to add new items into a database then it is to edit existing items. Unfortunately I'll have to deny this request.

For the feedback system you mentioned by leaving a comment, how about they just say "+rep" then "purchased x went smooth etc" and feedback is added to the thread creator? Then a notification goes to thread creator about the Feedback given to them.

With the site offering different (pay for) usergroups I believe it's a conflict of interest to allow moderators to use [MODERATOR] in their titles or as a form of +Feedback, whatsoever.
It feels unethical to me and is definitely a conflict of interest in my mind.. depending on "moderator's" job description.
I do not know the benefits of being a moderator as I am not one. Nor am I aware of any agreements between you (site admin) and them.
That being said I have no other complaints but one but there is nothing that can be done -_-

You've always taken time to answer mine and others questions and are very active (or was in Jan. I haven't been too active here after selling my PoE orbs, however, I came back to test the market again and sell my smurf) and I'd happily donate 10$ (more) to any trading community that offered the same from their Administrators and Moderators.
I'd donate xxx.00?? dollars to remove adds on mobile, workstation, browsers, everywhere.. however, I know that cannot happen 100% as that is how you are able to keep the site running and be an effective Admin.

For those of you that remember when I was asking questions in January this is @youguys.
My view on SteamRep has changed. I view it as a publicly shared shitlist and a way to give noobs a false sense of security when selling under 500-1000$. I still believe you should try and partner with them just because it brings those noobs with wallets here to spend money x)

You are MODERATORS of a trading forum. You BAN users among monitoring posts and review reports, etc..
I paid 10$ and gave all my personal details to the Admin, my customers would feel safe buying from me with 0 feedback.
I have NO power or authority here and am just a trader. If I did have an authority or power using that in my SALES POSTS to make $$$ would be unethical in my part of the world (don't take that as an insult, I just don't know where you're from and the ethics of your culture).

One thing you need to remember before u class us as using our "power" to get more business.
We may be moderators but we are still members of the epicnpc community we just have more responsibilities.
It was well known that a few PAST moderators have abused their powers however i have yet to see any of the current member of the moderator team use their "POWER" to get more business

You're not getting my point, point of view, or suggestion.
This has nothing to do with who has more rep or feedback. I disagree with you that advertising that you're a moderator should be used for TRUST when selling items.
Also, in SEVEN years of trading - if you haven't built a network and need to rely on your moderator tag to sell items fast, something is definitely wrong.

Yes, I paid 10$ as required. I had x2 accounts I hadn't played in over a year valued over 4,000$ (in items).
I paid 10$ hoping to sell my accounts with all the items (as I didn't think a new member selling 3,000$+ would be taken seriously. I wouldn't take them seriously.
I chopped the accounts up for the games currency, similar to cs:go keys.
I am 100% sure you're not being forced to be a moderator. I am assuming you applied, knew the Site Admin and were recruited, or?? I have no clue.
The point is what does you giving back to a community you have been apart of for 7+ years have to do with your trading? Imho, nothing.

Again, this is a suggestion thread. I will not speak for others but all the subreddits for selling items in regards to Steam make it very clear that they are against moderators doing this. I am not a drone repeating their words, I happen to agree fully.
I am making a suggestion to the Site Admin, not complaining. I rarely sell on EpicNPC. Not because I don't like the site but because as I said previously I am not a reseller or a trader for "profit".
I do sell tons of trash or any item that I cannot quicksell on Steam Market and re-buy items that do quicksell. The loss in getting taxed twice is worth it to me because the time involved in selling or trading them off is better spent doing what I do.
I also sell non trash for wallet if it becomes too much of a hassle or time investment. The photgraph is to demonstrate and show I am not talking out my ***.
If you look at my CS:GO inventory right now you will see all the non-tradeable keys I rebought from selling that. It's not because I "want" CS:GO keys it's because I have a large client base that wants them and can message 1-2 people and sell 1,000 keys in a few minutes.

This is a suggestion thread. I did not post this in General Discussion or some other bullshit to stir up drama. You can easily ignore this and it will just get buried as more people post suggestions.
I will gladly continue this discussion, CIVIALY, with any moderator that would like to express there feelings and or reasoning on the matter.
However, I will not respond to any more posts that are in anyway disrespectful.
I would like your opinion on my original suggestion posted 4-5 or so down.
I do not expect anything including a fast reply. It's just a tag.

Its a suggestion thread, you have to be open to seeing criticism. If you take a look at all mods, there is only a few of us. You can see we only use a small percentage of the forums on this site, most of us only one or two games. And basically you are telling its okay for us to spend most of days helping you and other members but when it comes to selling we aren't allow to be the more trusted users of the site. I get skype calls, messages, emails and pm's 24 hours a day to my phone and computers. And I answer most of them even when im working 11 hours a day. And I do not work at a desk and I always have some massive project going on, parts everywhere.
My biggest concern is you want to claim verified status on your sales but we cannot? It is an added level of trust because out there, there are still quite a few sites where the position is truly abused.
We use it on sales because 100's of new people travel this site a day who do not know who we are even if some of us have been here 7 years, that does not mean anything when the person looking at our threads knows no one. And to be honest claiming to be a super mod on my threads does not add a lot of business i am sure theres a percentage though. I do not do a lot of sales or purchases like I used to. Anything i do is repeat buyers and sellers now. And I need to be able to add new ones as I am not currently making any money on this site. Not due to site but current market. What makes my threads stand out from the hundreds of other people doing same things? Same as you trying to stand out in croud as well.

Everyone who becomes a moderator is a member, so obviously once they become a mod, they will most likely continue to buy/sell as usual as well as taking on their new moderator responsibilities.
There is nothing wrong with stating in a thread that you are a trusted member because you're a moderator. However this is something we take into consideration when voting on new moderators. We do not want mods who's primary goal is to boost sales by using their moderator status. We look for members that truly want to help keep the forum clean and safe for everyone.
Moderators who do not show a certain level of activity are removed from the team.
In conclusion, your suggestion to prevent moderators from leveraging their moderators status in their sale threads is not an idea I agree with.

Ever heard of Google Wallet? It's kind of like PayPal except you don't need a bank account to make one. You can also order a card which works the same as a MasterCard. Anyway, my suggestion was just going to be that you allow users to make purchases using Google Wallet as well. I'm kind of in a bind on trying to upgrade my account because I can't add money to my PayPal from my GW. Which means I can't verify my account even though I have the funds to do so, unless I can get to a bank for a card.

By reward I mean give them some credits
I honestly think this is needed. I spent over an hour making proofs to get a guy who chargebacked on me and admitted to scamming others banned.
I personally would do it as I like to keep the site clean. However other users won't care much.
For example, the guy who scammed me and is banned now scammed another user 2 weeks ago. The other user only posted on his post that he got scammed by this guy.
He didn't bother opening a dispute and so on, this resulted in the scammer scamming more people "me rip" .
So my suggestion is if you win a dispute and get someone banned for scamming , you receive credits, 50-200 credits, or something like that, no matter how small it will motivate more people to ban scammers.

I thought about adding an incentive system for reporting scammers. The reason I've never added one is because I'm worried too many people will start accusing each other of being a scammer. We have a volunteer staff and if we have to review 10, 20, 30 scam reports every day, we won't be able to process them. The system will be flooded with false reports and the real reports will become delayed allowing actual scammers more time to use our site.
The incentive is already there, to keep the community safe. Adding credit incentive would just lead to a large jump in reports that will most likely be false or lack proof, but they would end up taking up a huge amount of time to process.

Everyone is asking for additional payment methods or quality of service changes but... I would like to see some visual changes.
As a new member who just registered, it was quite difficult navigating the site. It feels so cluttered and messy, especially the users with oversized signatures that take up half the screen. There are way too many forums as well. Userbars could also do with a little bit of cleanup to match the site.

Userbars were updated recently (this year I think?).
And yes, I agree that it can be difficult to navigate the forums if you're new but it's not really that hard when you learn how to do it.
Also, I haven't seen people with 'oversized signatures' yet.

We are launching a forum homepage revamp next week that will remove the long forum list and instead replace it with a search box. Signatures are already limited in size, but we'll take another look to see if they should be limited even more. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes, that is currently the only way.
Or type in google "username + epicnpc", if the account wasn't created too recently.
If the user has no posts, it will not show up when using the forum search.

When a member is perma banned, you can edit his signature (or some other profile field) and put the ban reason in there.
It's a bit easier than having to go to the ban list and search for it, especially because the search function inside the ban list is not that great.
The majority of members don't even know that there is a ban list and the true reason why someone was banned, which allows scammers to lie about it.
