Other details / notes: I am not logged in skype frequently, in which the buyer contacted me the day the account was retrieved by a third party user. I spoke with the third party user, as he was my friend, and changed back the information that was associated with the steam account.

i received the refund after i told him i will report him at epicnpc in my opnion he thad try to scam because he used his paypal email for the account again.....he saw i played the account to global elite and took it back he only did the refund to get no negative feedback on epicnpc
........trust me this guy is a big liar....he deserve the negative feedback

After recovering the account from my friend, I restored it to the original e-mail (mine). As the accout is now in my possession, it clearly will send an e-mail back to me.

Also, when I sold this account to him, I deleted ALL players from my friends list. Never have I seen or added this person, or his rank. I received a paypal 'chargeback' nwotice email while I was working, and assumed that it had been about the listed account. Following this event, I checked my steam messages to find out that my friend who I given account access to via e-mail. He received an e-mail which said that purchased an 'Emerald Pinstripe AK-47,' which he did not. He then ran a 'lost password/account' process, in which it threw my account name. After successfully recovering the account, it lead back to the event in which sunnyishappy had filed a chargeback.

This account was sold three weeks ago. $19 dollars does not leave me walking away empty pocketed. I refunded the payment when receiving the 'charge back' without hesitation. Whether or not this situation leaves me with a ban, I had no intentions of scamming somebody over internet games.

He recalled the account assuming it was a hacked account. Don't get me wrong, wouldn't you run the account name through recovery if it made a purchase you hadn't?

His name is Blake, and does not have an account here. We've known each other for years because we went to highschool together..

Steam Wallet funds that are already in a Steam account are not new purchases. Since sunnyishappy changed the email on the Steam account to his own, the OO would not have received any notification about the fund use.

What notification did your friend receive? He shouldn't received any.

edit: look at the second picture admin there you see very ugly pixel around the steam username he have obv use a photo edit pogramm and have insert the username....

I need to test this scenario, but Steam has not been working for me today. It's loading very slow, 5 mins per page load, so I'll try tomorrow.

I tested and confirmed.

If you change the Steam email, it will only send the confirmation email to the current email on the account.

sunnyishappy purchased the account, it was his email on the Steam profile, which means the OO should not have received any email about the item purchased.

This means there was no reason for the OO to recall the account. jayhvynh your story is not possible. No email was sent to the OO.

Steam has a timestamp based on PST. When I tested this it was 11:32am EST, but the email I received from Steam said the purchase was 8:32am. This is correct based on my timezone.

This person is German, yet the timestamp in the email and the Steam purchase time is the same.

Germany is 9 hrs ahead of PST time. The email time stamp should have shown, 2:32 am, not 12:32pm. Instead both the email and Steam purchase time were exactly the same.

This reconfirms the email image you posted is fake.

1) Because emails are only sent to the current email on the Steam account
2) Because the timestamps are wrong.


jayhvynh you will have 24 hrs to explain, then you will be banned for scamming.
