To summarize: Customer buys an account and demands that we change the country from Argentina to US. As we all know, this is not possible without forged documents which is a felony. There's no block on paid services if the country is not the same as your residency. Blizzard simply converts the currency to USD when you make a purchase and in most cases it's actually way cheaper to pay in Argentina dollars than USD. If their card is declined (as is the case here) it is between the card issuer and Blizzard and is not something that we can troubleshoot. Furthermore, this guy has changed all the account information and issued a chargeback so he is actually the scammer.

Blizzard does not block credit cards from different cpuntries. Theres a tab to change currency on battle.net from usd to ars. Its very simple. Change currency to ars then fund balance with paypal. In 3 days currency is converter to ars and in battle.net balance. Its how we were buying gametime for 5.00 a month. Also character transfer is significantly cheaper like half price this way.

Unfortunately our customers don't listen to us when we explain that. He demanded we change the country then the next day put in a chargeback. As of now the customer has disputed the funds (and will likely win due to the fact banks don't look at the facts) and has full access to the account. I will be recovering the account this afternoon.

We just got the account back. Has been played as recently as this past weekend. Everything that guy says is a lie. Paypal chargeback is still open and likely won't be dropped. Refer to his recent posts in another scam thread to see what kind of character we are dealing with.

I want to just note: account country cannot be changed with out legal documents. So to change one would require illegal activity like a namehange. Billing will only change a country in rare circumstances due to the terms of use are different by country.

Country account is made in has an effect on prices of services and restricts transfers off account to an account from another country even if in same name. Battle.net curency could have been added with battlenet balance cards. Or purchased legitimately with in game currency. Enough gold for gametime could be farmed in a relatively short time.

Basically theres no legit reason for this charge back, so unless recall is canceled pcar will be banned in 24 hours
