Other details / notes: I thought it was a little fishy when I asked him if he had the last 4 digits of the original CC# used when registering the account, he said 'NO'. Also understandable as sometimes you don't. We have been Skype friends since I first purchased the account. Recently I noticed he removed me from his 'Friends List' and it states he's no longer sharing information with me 'Blocked me'. Which led me to attempt to login to the account, and of course as I suspected, the information has been changed and I'm unable to access it. Go figure aye?

Hope this all helps. We left appropriate feedback for one another, I believed him to be an honest trader. Well I was wrong. Unfortanately out of $100 bucks because of it. Hope he needed it more than I did.

Need anything else let me know. Unfortantely I do not have our chat logs anymore. But to be honest all that it consisted of was transfering information, etc.. As we pretty much made the deal through the website. He had what I was looking for. Exchanged emails for paypal information, sent payment. Done deal.

Just to add, I also find it ironic how he JUST signed in today too, to view my profile.. He's the last most recent one to view it. Normally a guilty concensious effort there to check and see if

1) I was on
2) Check my most recent posts, to see if he's been reported yet

Opening a claim via Paypal as well regarding it. Just giving you guys a heads up prior so I dont look like the guilty party here. I'll screenshot it with a timestamp to provide until this case is closed. I just would like to lock down my funds (as long as its not to late).

Well it's apparent he's a smart little cookie, as your only allowed 45 days to open a claim. After that it's set in stone. Today registers the 52nd day.. Wow I got burned.

No I didn't. Thats the thing with City of Heroes, for some reason they do not notify you of any changes. Like even when I picked up the account, I placed the email to a dummy email before transfering it to my REAL email. I never got an email notification of the change to the dummy email. It send it to the NEW email. Weird right? But I do know during password change process, the security questions have been changed as shown in the screenshot. They are no longer the ones I set as CoH also allows you to change them at any given time without ever contact their support staff. Also weird but it's true. Otherwise trust me I would have submitted that information as well. Sorry.

You may be right about the account information change thing, as its been awhile since i've done it with that game, BUT if someone 'phones in the claim' they DONT send a follow-up email saying, "OH Hey, FYI (someone - YOU) called and changed your own information, just a heads up". I mean seriously bro. And another thing, you cannot access the account without a PASSWORD. If you attempt to and it's incorrect it will ask you for the security question answers as it did me (shown in the screenshot). You also MUST answer both questions. Those questions CANNOT be reset without A) Complete access to the account B) Via a phone in claim.

OH and yeah, we did talk two months ago.. Funny how you removed me (recently) from friends list and stopped sharing info with me, at same time my account comes up missing. Another ironic thing right? OH and Yeah I plotted to recall the payment.. I waited 52days to recall it because Paypal's policy is 45days for all claims. Makes a whole hell of alot of sense too right?? Maybe for attention then? Also please post screenshots of this so called "email" you recieved regarding this 'TOM LAKE' character. Im not buying any of this. Maybe if you kept in the loop with me, and not remove me from your Skype as shown in the screenshot.

But then your probably going to say you did it because I stole your info right? lol..

So your defense is as follows...

A) I made a deal with you, to steal your information, and to hack a CoH account that I already purchased and sell it somehow somewhere else, and used YOUR email for the transaction.
B) To make this deal I then after switching the information to my own, SWITCHED the email back to yours by using your email for this "random transaction" your claiming to have recieved information for on your own personal email.. Umm why would I do that??
C) This whole thing is fabricated so I could keep the account, and get my money back too when Paypal's policy is 45days for all claims against someone (today being like the 54th day).

I dunno but it doesn't make sense.. Sounds like a big fabrication of BS to me..

We haven't spoken or talked in TWO months! You weren't even on my profile page as Im logged in almost everyday on the website. All sudden the night before I see this, your on top of my profile viewer page, and I'm removed from Skype? Horse**** dude..

1. u have ZERO proof that i took the account back but i have tons of proof that i gave it to u full
2. everything u said here is void because u have no proof
3. if u really wanted to contact me u have my email/phone # address skype i gave u all of that info during the talk on skype and i can screenshot that as proof
4. whatever scamm ur trying to pull wont work on me im done with this chat as i said befor ban me if u want

Can you show the message you supposedly sent me where you claiming "You think you know what happened". You told the mods and I you sent me an explaination.. Where is it? Im not trying to be a dik here, I just would like to see your reasoning for which you believed to have happened here. You told the MODS and I you had an explaination to why you think this all happened.. Yet fail to provide proof of this so called EMAIL you claim you have regarding "TOM LAKE". You also claim you sent me some sort of an explaination for all this, but you wont show it.. You then change your claim to accusing me of being the actual scammer here. I feel your grabbing onto anything and everything but your not showing any evidence of any of what your claiming.

Sorry but im very frustrated here. Put yourself in my shoes.. I provide proof I cannot login to the account. SO im not sure why you say I have ZERO proof. I CANT LOGIN and the screenshot I provided proves it. I think what Im asking for is fair. Provide some proof you have made attempts to contact me with these "explainations", provide proof you really got this random email NO ONE has seen yet, using your email and contact info.

Bankaiboi from the above it sounds like you are the Original owner? Are you?
Gordy did he state he was the OO in your chat before you purchased it?

Bankaiboi you are also admitting the account COULD have been taken by a friend of yours. Gordy is asking you to recover the account for him and since you are admitting your friend could have taken it, why are you refusing to help him?

Even if Gordy was attempting to scam you by pretending the account was stolen, you still should be able to get it back.

Below is our most recent chat log.. I'm not trying to be a dik here but It's frustrating when theres a lot of unanswered, and lack there of proof on his behalf.. As you will see highlighted in our chat log 3 very important things;

1) His friend had the information to the account (which he did not specify in the begining).
2) He IS the original owner, and told me in the begining as well. However as shown he "supposedly" cannot remember the information he used as it's been 6-8years ago. Well I'm sorry, but whenever anyone registers an account, why would you use ANY other information other than your REAL information..?
3) He's responsible for this account. If you sell to someone and whether you or your friend knows the information and takes it back, it is your responsibility to replace/refund.

Now I cannot determine myself whether what he is saying is true or not, but most of what Michael claims just doesn't add up. He's stated he's contacted me via Skype giving me some sort of explaination regarding this. Yet fails to provide any sort of screenshot of proof in this. He merely moused my over my name. Well this isn't a puppet contest. Hell anyone can do that. And again he claims to have sent me a PM on the forums claiming he never sees me on anymore? Wheres the proof in that? I signed on almost EVERY single day on these forums. My other 2 sales posts would easily verify that. I have nothing from him in my PM box. Can you provide a screenshot of your PM box and of your sending me this so called "PM"?

I dunno anymore.. Go ahead and read our conversation. All I've asked for his in recovering the account. I haven't even asked him one time for a refund. Hell as far as I'm concerned the money is gone! I'd just like the account back. So if moneys not an issue, and all I'm asking for is the account, doesn't make a lot of sense for me to open this claim against him unless i had some personal vendetta to get him banned. Thats just silly as I dont know him.
