I got scammed back than with paypal, because my buyer just reported unauthorized transaction(he/she probably used vpn for the transaction), you have a guess paypal doesn't gived a **** just taked my money without a question. My question is if this that easily exploitable, why everyone using paypal and taking risk with friends and family (0 seller protection, if they calling back your money you can't do **** about it)?

Paypal is always in favor of the buyer and F&F takes more time but it's easier to chargeback than normal purchases. If you want buyer protection don't deal with FnF, but know that virtual goods aren't covered via normal buyers / seller protection. Your best choice is to accept Crypto / Cashapp / Skrill or / Visa-Mastercard

If dealing with pp, make sure to pull out your money to your bank right away. If your account goes negative just leave it and get a new one.

You need to understand that you gonna deal mostly with teenagers or kids since you are selling gaming digital goods. There is no maturity behavior to understand why those people will charge back for any reason. My recommendation is to use payment methods such as Wise or Crypto.

Majority is using paypal because its well known platform that has been on market for over two decades with horrible customer service in my opinion.

kids under 18
cant buy or don't own crypto
wise too you need to be 18

Well, what are you trying to say? You need to be 18 as well to have PayPal.
kids under 18 cant buy crypto because they ask you to confirm your identity
i didn't use wise but i think you have to confirm your identity first
but paypal you can use it without confirming your identity to send money and make paypal purchases using your bank or debit/credit card

pretty crazy right? they can stand for more than 2 decades with horrible customer service

The only reason why I see it profitable to use paypal is for buyers, if they have a problem with the account, they can recover their money easily, otherwise I do not recommend it at all, bans for no reason, money on hold, high commissions and more

Necro reply, but could you please share more information regarding on how Wise is safer for seller than Paypal?

Thank you.

you can not recover your money if the account recalled after 6 months
the main reason why must of sellers using paypal is because 90/100 of buyers only using
paypal and not other methodes if u dont use paypal you can not sell accounts

I have 300+ transactions with Paypal and after many disputes going against my favor when I was in the right here are my two cents.

I've had many F&F get charged back.
I've had many G&S get charged back.

INVOICES!
Use invoices with a breakdown on what is happening (IE: your profile on the site, their profile on the site and how the delivery will happen) and that the delivery of the goods being non-refundable if the invoice is paid. Collect screenshots once delivery is made in case any messages are altered. By the terms you set in the invoices and the screenshots you collect, this has shown to be in my favor on every single transaction that was disputed, when both F&F and G&S were mostly rejected. I may have only won like 10% of those disputes.

If you're trading in 3rd party apps where usernames can be changed, messages edited, and other manipulation happening you will likely be scammed, this is why most business should happen through the site for both parties protection, and if possible to use trade guardian for further protection.

Addition for what @Bakuzni said - There is a program that can make you an online easy invoice :) Link here - source Shopify.

I love how @AZURAKAGAMI put this, giggled at it cause this is very true when everyone is saying it.

Sir any 12 year old that has no parental locks on their local machine could access google and hop into the PayPal site because dad doesn't care could easily enter fake birthday credentials. let's not forget how some kids will coax their parents into filling things out because they "want" something, like a shiny new account. So yes I agree with the people who said the systems could be manipulated. As far as PayPal goes I won't say too much on the matter due to I've used it as a buyer and never had to ask for a refund because I haven't had the need too, deals went great, business went great. Epic states the following items are prohibited but some people use it anyways.

Prohibited Material
  • No payment accounts (Paypal, Skrill, Venmo, Payoneer, etc.)
These Rules were set in place to pretty much make scams less possible for the dwelling loser in the basement Tryna use every platform as an attack against you. PayPal scams exist but sellers prefer it because they need to combat the pull-back charges with the F&F options.

"The main reason why most of sellers using PayPal is because 90/100 of buyers are only using.
PayPal and no other methods if u don't use PayPal, you cannot sell accounts."

why people prefer PayPal

@Kinji it pretty sums up too sellers prefer using this method because this is the method most buyers use. It's a deluded concept because nobody is safe from the dweller.
I feel sellers should be protected at all costs and so should the buyer, Both parties should do the research on who they are doing business with and not jump into a sale with some 12 year old kid who thinks he can pull one on you.

solution

Find a wholesome buyer that can be trusted network with them and stay in touch and make sure to stick to a platform that works, I understand you are trying to make money as a seller but having 40/50 clients that will indefinitely pullback charges is worse than 22 solid buyers who care for
you as a seller and trust you enough to not pull back. @Bakuzni mentioned the use of invoices this is a brilliant idea to document the process of who you're purchases and sales go to, I highly suggest you document the process from beginning to end so when a transaction goes bad you can have proofs of validation to staff or companies. I myself do this I take a little notebook and jot down prices, ranges and dates with the addition to invoices to protect myself. Never go up to someone and do business without a tracking of what is what.

Pencil, paper, pen, notes everyone but again nothing is fool proof but the scammers aren't the sharpest tools in the shed either.

What invoice trading games accounts is against paypal rules and will cause immediate BAN

All of my invoices are written out for a random alphanumerical confirmation code upon payment completion and the delivery (in the invoice details) is to be to the user profile on epicnpc's website. If payment is sent, and terms are agreed, I can show the delivery of the code as promised. This has been completed to close 2-3 tickets in my favor, where all other methods F&F, G&S have failed. Selling currency/accounts is against PayPal's ToS so as long as that's never in the terms, I am always completing my end of the deal.

200+ invoices, several scammers attempted chargebacks, zero successful.
