Date the problem began: July 26th, 2023

Describe the problem: I wanted to purchase a valorant account from this person. They seemed nice but since they had low reviews, I was a bit skeptical. I asked if they wanted to do the middleman service but they said they had bad experiences with it. I really wanted the account so as a solution, I offered to pay half first then asked to let me get the info to log in to confirm all the skins and everything on the account. They agreed. After I sent the money, they said they were worried now because I could easily change the info without verification because of riot's loose security. I understood and tried to convince them saying that since I paid half already, I already had some trust on the person and would appreciate if they could reciprocate it back by letting me log in. Nothing wasn't really going anywhere but since I already paid half, I decided to pay the other half and expected the info after. They were responsive and everything seemed fine until they just blocked me after the other half payment. They started deleting their own messages after blocking me but i managed to get some of our chat as quickly as possible (in images). I know paypal doesn't have any buyer protection with friends and family so I tried calling my bank. They told me to wait until the payment is fully processed before filing a dispute but honestly, since it's with a third party service of Paypal, I doubt i'll get the money back. I am ashamed that this happened and really wish there was a way to get it back because even though I was using the money to get an account, it could have went towards things in my personal life that could desperately use it more. I accept what happened but I at least want to get it known that this person scams so others like me dont fall for it. Thank you for your time.
(I know middleman wasn't used so you guys wont investigate the dispute any further than the person's account but hopefully this helps the community in some way.)
