How to get scammers info?

I read Cyrix2005 tread down below, and im wondering... how the hell did he get all of that kids information?

If everyone had that, scamming would be minimal on this site.

It's called someones ip, logs hold ip's, ip's hold information, Learn to code and research you would have no problems with scammers.. <3

Actually its not IP, because IP's can only trace back to the router, someone could have been stealing your wireless or something. Its the MAC address that gets you caught.
