i purchased users account. he refused to give over his account information and began to talk about a problem with his paypal. (even though he had received my money) user claims to return my money when his problem is gone but i already talked to paypal WHO ALREADY CLOSED THE FRUAD CLAIM and they said he told them its for a game account KNOWING THEY WONT RETURN MY MONEY. im giving a heads up for those who think about it. i will return a post when he has returned my money but for now dont buy from him/her. same is also a NON US user selling a US account.

adds, most pm-ing was done on another buy/sell website i can link those as well. i have proof linking this user to both website sales. he has responded to both websites about his paypal problems.
im not here trying to get him banned right now.if same refunds money everything will be great. opened ticket with paypal they closed the case via response from seller with no refund of purchase.

ask your self why would i go this effort to bann him if i got my account? this website isnt going to refund my money or get me the account i purchased. but it can save others from getting screwd like i did.

i challenge the seller to post the email of him sending me the information to MY MMOBAY VIA PM, give me my money back,or give me my account information.
simple request.

I have never scammed anyone before. I sold another rift account previously on (softly) but since i forgot my pw and made another account this one.

When you sent me 200$ paypal did lock my account (access limited) i told you i wanted to transfer the money to my bank account before handing over all the information + calling trion to change email. I can ask my previous buyer to vouch for me.

You have the account now and you opened a dispute to paypal requesting a refund. I called paypal 4/01/2012 asking what was the problem with the dispute , since i sold you the account and you received it.

I did wanted to refund the money when my paypal limited the account and you requested me to just give you the account , which I did after the account was lifted. Because i asked you to wait while I call paypal . I called paypal the day after it was locked and it was lifted and i asked you for the desire email you want for the account , address and first and last name. Only reason I couldn't contact paypal regarding the access limited on the day of the transaction because it was 12am in the morning.

So now you have the rift account and you want your 200$ back? -_-"

p.s Im a canadian seller that is why my paypal is NON US
 
junganla, merkiba is saying he does not have the account info. Can you post a screenshot of the chat or email where you give him all the info? block out the important info.

We didn't talk on email , we used another site pm box and i cleared it out after the account was sold and the transaction was cleared. I'm selling my sw:tor and wow account still so therefore i usually clear my inbox and make it tidy. I wouldn't expect to need these /shurg

I can't provide the screenshot atm , guess ill get the ban hammer for just selling a account and the buyer have the possession of the account -_-"

once you accept a payment via paypal (which you did right away). i can only dispute it. i can not retract it. PAYPAL DOES NOT COVER DIGITAL GOODS and you know this. so even a dispute wont get me anywhere your a cheat and thief and besides this bann i want you to have i hope my credit company finds you..

im asking you to prove to this site you gave me the account you can not. i can prove i paid you and that you tried selling the account after you "sold it to me". make up your mind. did you refund it or did you give it to me??

- the day after i send you money you say your going to refund my money PUBLICLY ON YOUR POST and that its STILL FOR SALE.
- the next day in PM's you say your going to refund my money. still no account info given.
- i leave you bad feedback and THEN ALL THE SUDDEN you "gave me my account info" bull you are trying to save your butt.
- magically you delete all your transaction history. if you say you are a seasoned seller you would never do this.
- honostly ill take a punch and use middle man services from now on. i don't care anymore i lost my money. it was my own fault to have trusted a stranger.

How is it magically? I gave you the account info after I called paypal on 04/01/2012 11am est to lift the limited access so i can transfer the money to my bank account. Then i gave you the account info + I called trion to change the email , address + name to yours , So i handed over the account to you.

in this business friend the account buyer does not get the luxury of buying a account and changing it to they're name. you can change the password. you can change the email. but thats it. the account maker will always be the name on the account.

anymore holes you want to dig your self in>? i suggest you just wait patiently for your ban. unless you refund my money or give me my account. with secret answers IF YOU EVEN OWN ONE.

Only way you can change the email is by calling Trion I have sold my previous rift account perfectly fine by calling them and requesting a name change ,address and email. + they gave me 30 more days of game time due to you cant change it on the trion site.

by the way for the devs here. this is the email this guy "deleted" the info he claims he changed it to. ALSO notice the BANNED through his name. looks like the other website found him not trustworthy as well.

i dont know how may times i asked you to resend the info if your not lying. but you always come up empty handed. a simple call to "TRION" would suffice since you are above the ToS I guess. like i said when i get either of the two things ill petition for your ban lift. or maybe im too brain damaged to remember to.

i don't have the account. you didn't send me any info. i sent a request as to what to change it to but you didn't. in fact you didn't even confirm to me that you did anything. you left me under the impression i was going to get a refund until you left me a feedback in your defense telling people i got the account..

[email protected] is not the one i emailed you. secondly no variation of the two emails or passwords together work. [email protected] or [email protected]. with either password. and no email from you telling me anything about the log in information therefore you changed nothing.

I am the purchaser of his previous account for sale - a HK equipped cleric that I am happily playing to this day. I was asked by the seller to come in and vouch for the previous purchase. I will say that although we had some misunderstandings during our initial transaction, the seller did ultimately come through in the end. The account I purchased was actually better than described, so I am very happy.

I dont know anything about THIS transaction, so I can't add anything to that end, but I can say that the seller is authentic based on my previous positive experience. If I may make a suggestion based on my transaction - seller, since the buyer claims to not have ownership of the account, why don't you try to call Trion and regain possession since you have original ownership credentials to do so, despite the email address issue. Please do this in a quick manner, i.e. tomorrow, first thing in the A.M., then contact the seller and give them a coin-locked preview so they feel better about the situation. Buyer - after you have seen the account, and potentially feel better, then remove the paypal dispute, so that the seller can give you the credentials to unlock and take full ownership.

If my suspicion is correct, based on my previous experience, I think the transaction may still be saved, despite some type of error or inaccuracy in the timeline of events. Both parties - if you will give the transaction one more chance to succeed and save face, even if you feel you are not at fault at all, it may well just work out.

I wish you both the best. Hopefully this turns out to be a happy ending. Buyer, you are welcom to PM me anytime if you want any of the details on my transaction.

Based on the top post on this page, and the two screenshots of attempted logins/recovery - it looks like you two have a registered email spelling problem. Seller - you will need to recover account if that is true.

those are the info i gave you and you even told me , and u said u logged on it fine. Then the next day I saw a email from paypal with a dispute.

I will call trion again but since the account isn't under my name anymore I have no guarantee of the out come.

Honestly stop threatening with the ban , Account was sold , you received it and your trying to ask paypal for your money back. So you have the account i sold and you want your money back?

i agree with the post made by[ iwhite]. but its up to the seller to get it done in a timely manner. im just waiting i cant recover the account. if there was a problem the seller will have to.


trust me i want this account very much and would love to do this transaction if there was a problem that can be fixed. if not its up to the admins to decide how this ends.but i will do my best to get either the account,refund,or a ban.

and right now ill back of refund or ban and wait for seller to fix his mistake. if all works out. i will tell other websites to lift his ban and there was a misunderstanding. my word. as well as paypal disput.

Seller, I chatted with the buyer via PM, and he also seems like a legit character. It really sounds like you have an account that is stuck in limbo, likely because the username is an email address that NO ONE actually owns due to a misspelling somewhere. Once you change the email address username in Rift, you have to receive the email notification and c lick the link to complete the transaction. I know this for a fact because I have purchased a few Rift accounts.

I'll bet you have an account where the link was never confirmed, and thus this is sitting in limbo. Please call Trion tomorrow, and since I suspect the link was never confirmed, I'll bet you can recover ownership. I know this sounds like a pain in the butt, but rise to the occasion so BOTH of you can be happy with how this turned out. Getting mad or suspicious will not solve anything, and one or both of you will suffer as the result. Do the right thing, BOTH of you.

By the way, the cleric is doing well. I just got her another piece of HK tanking gear last night, so she is continuing to improve slowly, but surely. I will give credit where credit is due, the seller rolls some very good toons with attention to gear details.

today i received some information from the seller.. such as. name of toon, shard its on, secret questions and answers. i then proceeded to friend this toon on a level one alt and couldn't it said it doesn't exist. i asked seller about this and he replied to get in contact with trion and give them the account information. i thought maybe they have the account on hold or something.

SO i called trion soon after i gave them the email that the seller said (in this thread) he used and they said they had no account on file with that email. i also tried the other emails that he "may have used" and they have no accounts on file to them either.they then asked me for the name of the toon so they can look it up and continued to tell me that they dont have a toon by that name i asked them if the account could have been compromised and they said they have NEVER had a toon by that name. besides looking like a total idiot i achieved nothing. then they asked me for my name so they can look up the account from my name i gave iot to them and they said they only have one account with that name. and it was my original account that i still play. owned well before this purchase was made.and that was the only account with the name the seller said he updated it to. im a little confused here so any advise from seller admins or help would be great.


things they said i should know that would help me get this GHOST account.

-correct toon name.

I'd like to chime in on this. I purchased a SWTOR account from the seller and the deal was fast and easy. I'd rate him A+, account transfer was quick, price was fair and the account was exactly as described.

As others have posted it seems this transaction / account is in limbo and can probably be solved.
i dont doubt the fact he sells accounts. I just never got what i paid for yet. And keeping devs updated is important for helping this get done in a timely manner. The guy already has my money. Its not like he's still selling it but the urgency is not a must to complete the transaction anymore. I would love to walk away and say he is a legitimately seller and rep the he'll out him. I mean the account is bad *** i can't wait for this to be over.

Today was a huge set back though.
 
As stated, the deadline will be Monday for junganla to get the account back. No proof was provided that he originally provided merkiba with the account info and it seems the info now provided doesn't work.

 
seller responded to me in a PM stating that trion wants me to call them for a second time.. i asked seller to provide me with the information i need to be able to claim the account.im waiting on reply
secondly he stated that trion told them someone logged on to the account and transferred the toon. how he got that information i do not know since the information he gave me previous about the account was false or outdated, every last detail. still waiting on pm reply.

p.s. i dont think the seller understands the severity of the situation at hand, he seems occupied selling other accounts right now.i am however worried that if he is banned this will never get solved but i would like to ask him to stop worrying about future prospects and pay attention the the matter at hand.

also i cant call trion because the seller has not given me any updated information. everything i have is what i brought to them last week. and looking back that was a flop. im waiting for seller to check his inbox. and reply. i also asked him to update this thread with more detailed information as to his status and what he knows.

if he continues to dodge my questions im going to give up on the account and ask a refund or ban.
 
Merkiba, I'm so sorry this happened at all to you, and is still dragging out. I have to say I am completely at a loss at what to believe. I had a scary/lengthy previous transaction with the seller, but it did work out 100% in the end - finally. I'm still crossing my fingers for you. I'm happy to hear he is still sporadically in communication with you. I'll check back in a few days.
 
i give up it has been 7 days since last contact and user has been on since. ban when ever. also can you remove the negative feedback the scamer left me?
