Feedback now displays on thread list

We have added a new column to the thread list page that displays the thread creator's feedback and percentage score.

Only the dominant score will display from the positive, neutral and negative possibilities. So basically the one with the highest number is used.

Example:
5 positive, 2 neutral, 2 negative = 5 positive will display

Below the feedback number it will display the percentage score to give a more accurate reading. In the above example, below the 5 positive box it will show 55%, which isn't very good.

This should make browsing the site easier for buyers as they can quickly see which sellers have feedback and how much. This should also make it harder for scammers that get negative feedback to sell as members are going to much less likely to click a thread with a red negative feedback indicator.

If you have any comments or notice any problems, please let me know or post here.

Well done!

It's too big. :)

Thanks, its really great!:)

It's a great addition. But is there any reason why it does not include the "Other Feedback" in the display?

I feel like it's a bit misleading considering some people might naturally have a lot more feedback on a different forum and are trying to get into trading on this forum.

The "Other feedback" has always been treated as a secondary feedback and kept separate from Epicnpc feedback. The reason is because we don't control those sites, so we have less ability to check if we suspect it's fake.

"Other feedback" displays on various pages, but it wasn't included in this update purposely as we want to keep Epicnpc feedback as primary.

I like the change, but I think it'll affect smaller sellers like myself negatively. Buyers can easily pinpoint the guy with the highest feedback and will just pick them.

I could have some impact, but I think the benefits outweigh the negative.

For me personally, seeing 10 feedback makes me just as comfortable as 100. My main concern would be getting scammed, but if I see someone with 10, then the chances are low. The only difference at that point is one is a big seller and the other small.

no thats just what it looks like, its saying user has bad feedback. 50% is bad feedback.

Ok I can understand that. I just think -1 is a little inaccurate, cuz he actually is at 0 and not lower.

its not saying its negative one thats how you are reading it. its displaying 1 feedback but red because his percentage is bad.

If a member doesn't have a dominant score, the lower one will appear.

1 positive, 1 neutral = 1 neutral will appear
2 positive, 2 negative = 2 negative will appear

Maybe it would worth to try to make different color gradient depends on amount of feedbacks (the more feedbacks the blighter color?). May hit small sellers tho, so maybe bad idea.
All I see at first sight is green and gray titles. Don't pay much attention to numbers and all green bars merge.

Also I just scrolled 5 pages and everyone has 100% rating or 0% (neutral). So this percent display isnt really useful thing but takes a lot of space, I think it would look better without it.

Many forums have filters which have multiple colors, so adding multiple colors for feedback would look messy.

Users with no feedback show gray with 0%. We could hid it, but then users would ask why some people are missing this info. Gray just means they have no feedback most of the time.

The rating is needed. Not every seller has 100% feedback. Someone that has 10 positive, 1 negative, will show 91%, so a user can see quickly they don't have perfect feedback. If we remove that, users will think the seller has a perfect score, which in this case they don't.

Maybe display the percentage only when it's not 100%?

The percentage score is already really small, so it doesn't really take up much space.

We're redoing the thread indicator icons within the next 1-2 weeks. That will remove some of the clutter so it should look cleaner once that update happens.

Excellent feature !
