<span style="font-weight: bold">Describe how you were scammed: </span> I purchased this account for $170us as i cant use WU as a payment method we struggled to find a solution as he wouldn't accept paypal.. due to possible disputes.

We finally decided to do instant bank transfer once he found a bank account located in australia. after payment was done. he couldn't see the payment verified and so i sent a screenshot of it completed but because of the length of how long this all took, he decided to give me the details anyways. Under the condition that i not attach it to a battlenet account just yet.

Now because i wanted to xfer the toon off the account and onto my own account. I was unhappy with this request. Being the weekend i wanted to begin playing my mage asap. We came to an arrangement that i would send him $170us again in paypal with screenshots of my ip address and payment completed and writing "i waiver my rights because i am buying an intangible item" in the comment as collateral and he would return it as soon as the payment was confirmed. I did this because he seemed professional and i felt secure with the amount of rep he had.

Come monday i asked if the payment came through. he said it had. that was the last response i ever got from him. I then spent the next 5 or so days up until the next saturday sending him instant messages, emails and private messages on MD to him. In which he never replied. NOT ONCE.

So i filed an unauthorised payment on my paypal in attempts to get my money back.

I found out yesterday that my dispute had been refused.
I then announced he was a scammer in his thread in a desperate attempt to get his attention and let others know of what a cowardly scammer he is.

I THEN FINALLY GOT MY REPLY.

If you know anything about psychology you can see he is patronizing me there because he knows he got away with it and theres nothing i can do. But at the same time he shows guilt for what he did by the fact that he never replies once to me when i attempted to contact him.

As an administrator you should be able to check to private message i sent him. Don't you think its weird that he never responded to that and yet logged on numerous times after i sent it.

I will also add that if you look at my rating you see that he wrote this:
lolshaman Positive 10/10/09 A+ buyer. Very understanding.

That was for the fact that i went to great lengths to make sure he felt safe in the transaction by offering collateral on top of it.

Aurey bought my mage for $340. Not $170 as indicated in his scammer post against me.

We agreed on 50% paypal and 50% bank transfer because he was going to go off and buy another mage on mmobay.

Went through with it no problems and all was fine and dandy until an unauthorized payment dispute was filed by Aurey.

I called up paypal next day and discussed with them the details of my transaction.

After paypal closed it in my favor, Aurey then attempted to damage my rep by making a scammer post against me, and has taken to harassing me on AIM.

Will allow a mod to access my email/paypal to verify all this.

seing as you have the chat logs. send the mod the actual chat log you can open in the archive that opens in the internet explorer. all you've done is edited and forged fake chat logs example changed 170 in my post to 340. as far as i know you cant fake the internet chat logs.. Refer to 2nd screenshot from left, line 2. You offered me a 70 druid as collateral, to which i declined? Contradiction much?

Like you said yourself, why would I shoot myself in the leg just for this $170 when I make much more by being legit?

Notice he did not create a scammer post until the payment dispute got closed in my favor? Looks to me like he's trying to screw me over now that his plan failed.

i originally aim'd wowgoldseller stating that i was filing a dispute against him because i was getting worried as he hadn't replied in 4 days. i asked at that time if he could accept the dispute and reverse the funds.

As i had no response for so long i was unsure wether or not he was deliberatly ignoring me or there was some other altercation. So in doing so i did not want to make this individual angry. as at this point the money was completely in his possession. Once it became clear that he scammed me. I began appropriate steps. EG: make this thread.

Also wowgoldseller. I asked for you to upload the aim document that you can open through aim. any idiot can take a screenshot and edit it through paint. I want the document. so alex can open it up himself. with out your parental control system over it.

I would also like to add a bit more. <span style="font-weight: bold">The buyout price was set out at $170 yet someone was willing to pay $320??</span> (as you suggest below) Why were they willing to pay almost double. when you clearly had $170 buyout in thread.

And on top of that. If you had someone buying an account for nearly double the buyout price. Why are you trying to see if you can get more for it. Far fetched much??

and then you suggest that i offer $300 as a haggle. If you already have a pending offer of $320 why would i offer an amount that is below your "pending" price.

I just had a look to see if you can edit the actual aim log that gets archived. and its very easy to do.

just opened it notepad and and edit then re-save back into its original format. So i no longer want you to post the your aim file. As its now obvious you can fake that to.

So i guess now its down to wether or not alex believes my story or wowgoldsellers that apparently had a "pending sale" of $320 before i allegedly offered <span style="font-weight: bold">EXACTLY double the buyout price.</span> (bit odd don't you think) for a t7.5/t8 mage.

audrey - without a screenshotted chatlog i am unable to tell if the paypal you sent money to was actually lolshaman's and did he ask you about it.

on the other hand, lolshaman, seeing audrey is accusing you of altering key aspects, mainly the amount of money and your agreement, please post screenshots or upload a ZIP file of the entire AIM transaction.

that would be the fastest way to clear things up - please help us help you.

As you can see. Lolshaman didn't dispute the fact that i sent paypal and internet banking to him. Hes disputing the fact that the paypal wasn't used to pay for collateral. Rather just 50/50 of the transaction.

So the fact that you are trying to see if the paypal was sent to him is void. as he never disputed that was the case.

Why would i pay 50% paypal and 50% internet banking if i did indeed pay $340. Why wouldn 't i just use one source to pay it out.

I payd thru internet banking. He couldn't see the transaction completed on his screen but considering i sent a screenshot and the fact that we had been trying to organise payment for most of the day. He decided to give me the details. and so he did.

But on the condition that i don't attach it to my battlenet account until he sees the payment confirmed.

and so i agree'd as to attach it to a battlenet and then xfer to another battlenet would require me to wait 30 days/

He then told me that if i attach it to my existing battlenet account. i wouldn't have to wait 30 days. and so i would be able to xfer instantly and be playing my mage that day (saturday - the weekend)

So now i pushed to be able to attach to a battlenet account.
and so we finally came to an agreement of paying collateral thru paypal with screenshots of ip and righting i waving my rights in the comment box and he would repay me when the internet banking transfer had been cleared on his screen.

and asking for him to send you a zip file of the aim conversation is worthless. he can edit the file in notepad and resave it back in html to look legit.

If your gonna go solely on that evidence. I'm happy to go back and edit his edited version to what it should have looked like and send it to you as evidence.

As i have already said.

The thread link states buyout was 170us and he states someone was offering 320. WHY? who would offer 320??

I also sent him a pm about 4 days later asking where my money was which he ignored me as he had done since he saw the payment cleared. Which fits with my story.

I know its a lot of info to re-read. But if you read it thoroughly. you'll see that his story seems to go far fetched and yet mine is spot on. But the only thing i lack is chatlogs stupidly i didn't have saved. But he posted the fake ones to which i tried my best from memory to fix up.

Sorry to sound frustrated but when your asking for evidence to prove i payed him paypal annoys me as no one disputed the fact that i did and so it has nothing to do with anything. Also he has stating numerous times that he even rang up payalpal to get them to close the payment in his favour. As i disputed the paypal transaction after about 4-5 days as i was getting worried and he had ignored me since the other payment had cleared.

I know its alot of information. But could you please spend a little more time reviewing all the posts. cos if you do it will become very clear lolshaman's story is waay to far fetched.

I also googled lolshaman and found a youtube profile proving that hes 17. Just to clarify hes not some professional business just some punk kid trying to steal money.

I'm really not happy with him being allowed to use fake chatlogs as a sole purpose of evidence when they are very easy to fake screen shot and post.

those screen shots were requested by lolshaman after each money transaction. Hence they were already saved to my computer.


If you look at the NAB screenshot it has the chatlog window in it. verifying he wanted the screenshots.

And the dispute screenshot with paypal was screenshoted about a week after the transaction when i figured out he was scamming me.

what screenshots are you waiting for lolshaman to provide?? if its just chatlog screenshots. They are easily fakeable and shouldn't be deemed as proof.

Also i do not believe lolshaman intended to scam me until days later. When i assume. easy money became to overwhelming for him.

As after i transfered the 170 through NAB BANK he gave me the account details but he requested i don't merge the account until the payment cleared. This didn't bother me until i found out it was possible to attach it to my battlenet and xfer the mage instantly instead of a 30 day waiting period.

and so as i sign of good faith i did as requested until we came up with the idea of collertal cash through paypal that required screenshots of the transaction and ip address with the note saying i waiver my rights because i'm buying an intangible item.

But unfortunately i didn't have logs saved on aim. I only installed aim so i could contact people through MD. i normaly use msn messenger.

Considering how easily logs can be forged and faked i still fail to see how there such a vital part of evidence. The fact that his thread alone STATES $170 BUYOUT (that cant be edited without the moderater seeing previous edits) and on top of that i even PM'd him on Markee dragon wanting my money back with no response.

and the price he suggests is double the buyout price exactly. those facts in itself should provide an obvious verdict.

I would still like to see the story he tries to make up about the alleged person he had pending a buyout of $320 when the buyout price is $170.

He had a thread previous to this trying to sell the same account for $250 for a few weeks. then finally made a new thread with a 170 buyout (check his previous posts for proof of this)

and then suddenly he suggests someones offering $320.

I'm happy to answer any questions on aim or on the phone. i have nothing to hide. and i want this user banned or demanded to pay back my $170 that he stole

The only evidence he provided was a fake version of the real chatlogs. Since then, i have pointed out every single flaw in his story. and he has done nothing more.


If i was the scammer in this. why would i persist so much with this. whats my motive? There is none. and his story is as far fetched as they come. I've outlined everything over and over again. I want something done about this please.

Bottomline is this. lolshaman you picked the wrong person to scam. and now your gonna be hung out to dry like the dirty dish rag you are.

you need to prove what you are saying that figures have been altered / removed etc...

think about how the staff are seeing this one - the guy with incomplete proof is accusing the guy with prove that his proof his fabricated / altered yet is unable to prove it...

its a real headache

I have proof. The thread clearly states $170 BUYOUT. Yet you are using a fabricated aim log as more validated proof then that of what is orginally posted on this website. and on top of that. i allegedly bought the account for exactly double the buyout price. is that now far fetched?

Also i messaged him where is my money on MD and he ignored me. Goes along with my story. I really feel you havent properly read this thread. just skimmed through it. Can i talk personally to a moderator over the phone or through aim. Because this is ludicrous..

Can another mod please review this case. Because even though marcklam is trying to help. He is doing a rather bad job if he did indeed read the entire thread.

please be patient with us and if you were scammed take your anger out of someone else. i did not cause your grief - you were the one who made the error so please, keep it in check.

moreover, say we do ban lolshaman. does it get you closer to recovering your money? i would suggest trying harder by contacting your bank and paypal reps repeatedly.

What I said is that you will get banned for posting in other people's every post accusing them of being a scammer, AKA harassing them. There is not a rule specifically against such as spelling out every rule would just confuse everyone. But, this scammer forum was created specifically to get the scam accusations out of feedback and selling threads and to consolidate them all into one place so that people could easily search them out.

That being said there is the "Don't be an idiot" rule. We do not have to break it out very often, but your obstinate refusal to settle down and let us do our (volunteer) jobs, and your threat to spam someone else's threads calling them a scammer when we are trying to deal with the issue peacefully here and get you a resolution it is awfully close seeing use.

Now, answer the question politely, let us help you and we'll see if we can get you a resolution to your satisfaction. OK?

Here is a fake log i fabricated and edited that was beforehand a conversation with xatomlab. If need be i can upload the actual file to further prove my case.

I think i just found a mistake made by him.
(all picture are the same pictures lolshaman used above. just using them here to hopefully make it easier.)

As you can see here both texts are black and white



Yet In this screenshot lolshamans text becomes smaller randomly starting from 7:21pm. <span style="color: #FFCC00"><span style="font-weight: bold">AND IF YOU LOOK at the screenshot i took with the NAB banking transfer in the background you will see that the text was never resized until he messed up and edited the aim log.</span></span>

Now in the next screenshot the writing goes back to normal size again. but then starting from 7:56pm the text goes smaller and faded ASWELL. Also note that at 7:56pm the color of the word is now <span style="color: #993300">BROWN</span> and not black.



You asked me to prove his logs are fabricated/altered, Well here is proof.

as the logs you have BOTH provided dont show the complete exchange of full account info (just the username / pw and SQA) missing first and last name.

lets make it easier on all of us - if lolshaman did not give you the FULL account info and holds your money (whatever amount) then he is in fault and we can proceed to the next phase.

just helping out mods, pls don't consider this offensive to the rules.

If you have access to the b.net account, it shows the full name in the shipping info, if not, you can simply call blizzard, and tell them you need to reset the password because somehow it's not working for you, the rep will ask for the info blah blah and if the names are incorrect he will tell you.
