Background Information -
Seller bought an OSRS (OldSchool Runescape) Account from me previously. As i am thinking of quiting i inquired if he wanted to purchase my last Main account, which he replied it would be good for his "Wife/partner". The account had 1-1.2B Gold on it at current prices is about $500-$600 USD.
Since he bank transferred the money for the first account purchase and there was a 24hour hold. I let him on the account early provided he prove payment was sent from his bank, Which he did. I only did this because there was nothing of wealth on the account. So if the payment never came through i could always recover the account.
Now for the 2nd account and the large amount of gold was on it. Bank transfer once again was easier for both of us. Payment of $0.50 was sent from 2 different bank accounts to see which one would get received first. I got one payment within the 24hour time period and he said he would send the rest right away. Not long after he requested to have access to the account like prior, i state i would not do that this time as there was a large sum of wealth on the account. So i declined. At first he seemed okay with this, I even asked if he can send proof from his bank like last time i may let him have access early to it. Shortly after he did send proof of "payment" but it was very different to the first one that was sent. So i still declined to give him access to the account because i wasn't satisfied with the proof. Since then the person has stopped responding to me all together, I have given him plenty of time to respond and has since been online multiple times via discord and EpicNPC but no respond. This is clear that the person was trying to send fake payment transactions in order to gain access to the account like the first one to remove the in game wealth.
I will post proof below within staff content as it will have personal and private information from both parties.
If There is anything else i missed please let me know and i'll be happy to provide. I have not lost anything in this deal but this was a clear attempted scam to alter the "proof" in order to get the large amount of in-game wealth.
I would hate to see this happen to another person.
