Account selling swindle

Hello,

I had a conversation with Petern. He wanted to sell me a Dofus Touch Account. He shows pictures from it and everything. I got a price and I wanted to know how to pay. He told he only want bitcoins, lightcoins or with steam cards.

I decided to pay with steam cards and he wanted me to post the codes from the cards (1x 50€, 1x 20€ together 70€) in the conversation with him on this page.

After I did that he told me that the 50€ one isn't working....but this can't be and as I know noone else could see in our conversation.

I want the Account I paid for as agreed or want my money back!

I also went to the police station and reportet that swindle

@Salirna Did you purchase both cards at the same time? Do you have a receipt to show this?
Can you please create a support ticket to Steam. Ask for as much information as you can in regards to the activation of the specific code in question and let us know the response.

@Petern Anything to say? By the way, no one is buying the excuse that other people can see the conversation.

I asked now for the Account name who activated the keys and if both has been activated by same person

Ok there is nothing more possible only to police whats is running too

He's ([email protected]) been banned. He did this to another member also, contacted about 50 members total, and got paid with a giftcard code, then said it didn't work.

Never paid with a gift code, there's no way to tell if they're lying or not, so he can easily blame the website you bought it on.

In the future, I recommend using Trade Guardian to avoid scams like this.
