Last week a few old friends told me about some Japanese crypto "investment" site which sells access to a trading bot.
You deposit USDT and the bot uses it to make trades on various exchanges. It works by buying on an exchange where the price is currently the lowest and then almost immediately selling it on a different exchange where it's the highest, making a small profit, around 0.7 to 1%. They take 50% and the rest goes to you.
Now I'm very skeptical about this. Apart from this "trade log" that they give you, there's really no proof that it's actually doing what it claims. It reminds me of BitConnect back in 2017, which turned out to be one big ponzi scheme.
It's been there for around half a year and so far it does what it claims to do. Withdrawals work with any amount. I tested it myself with smaller amounts.
Withdrawals for my friends who've been using it for about two months were successful even with amounts of a few thousands.
I could not find any reviews about it. It seems that very few people know about it as of now. And registration is possible only by being invited by an existing member.
Has anyone had experiences with similar sites/services? Do you think that profiting on small differences between exchanges is actually possible or is it just a cover up for a scam? I'm tempted to pump in some more USDT, considering that it takes just around a month to earn back the investment, but I got this feeling that it might disappear at any moment.
