*Urgent* Need to be contact by a moderator/admin

[Bettser]

Hello,

I am Bettser. I am a moderator on another forum similar to this. I am active on a few sites, and just got a mail from a member here that someone is impersonating me, and has apparently scammed. I can verify myself in anyway possibly.

[doomedtofail]

I'll pm you my contact and ill see what i can do

[Bettser]

Thank you very much, I would like to clear this up ASAP.

[doomedtofail]

Also i had to move it to scam busters for now.

[Bettser]

Yea thats fine. I would have had no idea about this if a member here didnt message me.

[doomedtofail]

IP's are vastly different.

Is he telling users he is you? Or does he just happen to be using the same name?

Also, who contacted you? I see this has just started popping up.

I have temp banned Bettser to keep the community safe Once we get more information we can Perm ban him or we can wait till Epicnpc himself logs on and checks pm's between the imposter and users on this site

[doomedtofail]

He is claiming to be Bettser and sending links to his forum. but the people scammed have not ask for pm's or anything from him there.
