Today we launched a major update to our Trade Guardian system, specifically with our Middleman service option, that we think will make Epicnpc a much safer community for buyers, seller and traders.
This update includes a complete overhaul of our MM service and an integration of Trade Guardian into sale threads.
Sellers
When creating a thread, a seller can choose to use Trade Guardian. They select which TG services they accept. MM, Bitcoin, and/or Credits.
Buyers
When a buyer clicks "Buy with Trade Guardian" they will be able to select from any of the services the seller accepts (MM, Bitcoin or credits)
Trade Guardian Transactions (Bitcoin & Credits)
Bitcoin and Credit transaction will work the same as before. Buyer's and sellers will access the transactions through the "Active Transaction" page via Trade Guardian where they can follow the step-by-step instructions.
Trade Guardian MM Transactions
When a TG MM transaction is created it will also create a MM listing. Approved MM can claim the transaction and if the seller accepts the MM, they are added to the transaction. The seller can also choose any approved MM from a drop down menu if they want to use someone specific.
Once a Middleman is added, the MM fee has to be paid before the transaction can begin.
MM Fee: $9.95 + 5%
MM Commission: MM earn 80% of the total MM fee
Cancellation fee:
Communications for MM transactions are through our Private Message system. The buyer, seller and MM are all added to the same chat. Fee payments, status updates are also conducted directly from the message system. All Trade Guardian related message will appear in the "Trade Guardian" tab in the inbox.
Once a MM transactions is completed, all 3 members receive feedback automatically.

- The seller will also be asked to enter a price for the item they're selling. This price will also appear in the thread.

- The buyer can accept the seller's price or they can make another offer instead
- The seller will get a message asking them to accept or decline the offer.
- If declined the buyer can just make another offer.
- Once the seller accepts an offer a Trade Guardian is created based on the buyers selection.

- If the MM transaction is canceled before the MM receives anything, a 100% refund is given.
- If the MM received the item/account, then it's canceled, we charge a $9.95 cancellation fee.
- Example: MM Fee = $18. MM received account, then the buyer or seller decide they want to cancel. The item is returned. Only $8.05 is refunded. $9.95 is kept as the cancellation fee.
