@asJeep

The Seller @asJeep posted a negative revenge feedback to me here: https://www.epicnpc.com/members/digbig.575147/#feedback

Stating it's his worst selling experience, when all the issues stems from his actions;

Explanation and Evidence Regarding the Transaction and Retaliatory Feedback

I will provide all relevant chat records from EpicNPC and Discord, along with screenshots and PayPal transaction records, to document the events in chronological order.

1. First Purchase / Initial Transaction August 4

The first purchase took place on Tuesday, August 4, through EpicNPC. My purpose in contacting the seller through EpicNPC was to confirm that the Discord account I was communicating with belonged to the same person as the EpicNPC user “asJeep.” The relevant screenshots are attached.

After adding him on Discord, I later realized that I had accidentally added him using my personal Discord account, rather than the Discord account I normally use for buying and selling through EpicNPC.

Because I wanted to keep my personal Discord account separate from my buying and selling activities, I explained that a friend would be purchasing future currency from him. This was simply to maintain confidentiality regarding my personal account. I had originally intended to make additional purchases after the first successful transaction.

I can verify that both Discord accounts belong to me through the corresponding PayPal transaction records. Therefore, his claim that one transaction was with me and another was with my “friend” is misleading. The two Discord accounts are both mine. I can provide the relevant PayPal records and account information as evidence.

After the initial transaction, I did not continue communicating with him through my personal Discord account. All subsequent buying and selling communication was conducted through my dedicated buying and selling Discord account.

The first screenshot establishes:

  1. The date of the initial transaction.
  2. What was purchased.
  3. That the Discord account I contacted was associated with the same individual as the EpicNPC user asJeep.

2. Initial Pricing Issue

The second screenshot shows my communication with him regarding the pricing of the currency.

At the time I made the original payment, the agreed price was $0.76 per 1M gold. Due to a miscalculations he charged me almost double the cos tof $102.63. The actual cost was only suppsoed to be $59.28. My understanding was that I would receive the currency at the quoted price because that was the price agreed upon when I sent payment from whatever that was still owed to me from the overcharged.

I did not make a major issue out of the price change at the time. However, I am including this information because it is relevant to the overall pattern of communication and the seller's handling of the transactions.

Rather than risk further delays or potentially having the transaction stalled because the price had increased, I agreed to accept the currency at his newly quoted price of $1.16 per 1M gold, which was a substantial increase from the original quoted price.

I ultimately accepted one of the options he provided and proceeded with the currency at the new $1.16/M rate.

3. Second Follow Up Transaction

A few nights later, I contacted him again to make another purchase.

Screenshot #3

In Screenshot #3, I contacted him regarding another purchase at the agreed price of $0.88 per 1M gold.

He specifically stated that he had 80M gold available and asked whether I wanted to complete the transaction “now" because he's ready to trade "now" immediately.

I immediately responded that I could make the trade now.

I emphasize the word “now” because that was his own wording. Based on his statement that the 80M was available and that he was ready to trade now, I reasonably expected the gold to be delivered shortly after payment.

Screenshot #4

After I made the payment, he confirmed that he had received it.

However, immediately after receiving payment, the situation changed from being ready to trade “now” to asking me to wait approximately 15 minutes.

The timestamps in the screenshots are important because they show the progression of events.

At approximately 9:20 PM PST, he indicated that he was ready to trade “now.” I then promptly made the payment.

Screenshot #5

After receiving my payment, he then told me to wait 15 minutes and later stated that he would “let me know when ready.”

At this point, approximately 30 minutes had already passed.

The progression was:

  1. He stated that he was ready to trade now.
  2. After receiving payment, he said to wait 15 minutes.
  3. After approximately 30 minutes had passed, he said he would let me know when ready.
This was already significantly different from the expectation he created before I sent payment.

Screenshot #6

After another approximately 20 minutes passed without an update, I contacted him asking for an update.

At this point, approximately an hour had passed since he initially told me the gold was available and that he was ready to trade “now.”

I was understandably frustrated because I had already paid for the currency and was continuing to wait despite being told that the gold was available and ready.

Shortly afterward, I was informed that he did not actually have the 80M gold he had represented as being available.

Instead, he only had 35M.

This was a significant issue because I had made payment based on his representation that he had 80M available for sale.

At that point, there had been multiple changes in what I was told:

  1. The gold was supposedly ready to trade immediately.
  2. I was then told to wait 15 minutes.
  3. I was subsequently told I would be notified when ready.
  4. After approximately an hour, I learned that he did not actually have the 80M he had said was available.
  5. He only had 35M.
Despite being frustrated, I remained civil and explained that there had been too many miscommunications on his side and that the situation had left a bad impression.

I then courteously requested a full refund.

He agreed to provide a “full refund,” as shown in Screenshot #6.

4. Refund Issue

Screenshot #7

The total amount I originally paid was $74.62.

He stated that he had issued a full refund, but the amount actually refunded was only $70.40.

The difference was $4.22.

I normally would not make a significant issue over a few dollars. However, given everything that had already occurred, I pointed out that the amount refunded was not the full amount I had originally paid.

He explained that the difference represented PayPal fees and stated that he was not responsible for refunding those fees.

My position is that if I was responsible for paying the transaction fees when purchasing the currency, then a refund intended to be a “full refund” should return the entire amount I actually paid.

I was not requesting additional compensation or trying to profit from the situation. I simply expected the full amount that I had paid to be returned.

5. Continued Discussion Regarding the Refund

Screenshot #8

Despite being frustrated by the entire situation, I continued to communicate with him civilly and again requested the remaining amount necessary to make the refund a true full refund.

He repeatedly denied responsibility for the PayPal fee, even while acknowledging that the problems with the transaction were his mistakes.

From my perspective, the issue was not simply the $4.22 difference.

The larger issue was the sequence of events:

  1. I was told the 80M was available.
  2. I was told the trade could happen “now.”
  3. I paid promptly.
  4. After payment, I was told to wait 15 minutes.
  5. The wait continued.
  6. I eventually learned that the seller did not actually have the 80M he had represented as available.
  7. He only had 35M.
  8. I requested a full refund.
  9. He agreed to a “full refund.”
  10. The refund was $70.40 instead of the $74.62 I had originally paid.
In his own words, he characterized the consequence of his mistakes as essentially receiving a “scorn” for his mistakes.

However, from my perspective, I lost time, money, and energy dealing with a transaction that did not proceed as represented.

At that point, I was no longer concerned about the few dollars themselves. What ultimately led me to leave negative feedback was the overall experience and the repeated stalling and excuses.

6. The Retaliatory Feedback

After leaving my review based on my actual experience, I later logged into EpicNPC and discovered that he had posted a negative/revenge review against my account.

Throughout the entire transaction, I remained civil and fulfilled my obligations as the buyer.

My feedback was based on what actually occurred and was not fabricated or intended to retaliate against him.

I:

  1. Made the payment promptly.
  2. Waited patiently despite being told the trade was ready “now.”
  3. Continued waiting after being told it would take 15 minutes.
  4. Followed up appropriately after the delay.
  5. Discovered that the seller did not actually have the 80M he claimed to have.
  6. Politely requested a refund when the agreed transaction could not be completed.
  7. Accepted the refund rather than demanding additional compensation.
  8. Only questioned the refund because he explicitly represented it as a “full refund,” while returning less than the amount I had paid.
Despite all of this, he claims that he had the “worst selling experience.”

I find that claim difficult to reconcile with what actually occurred.

From my perspective, I completed every obligation required of me as the buyer. The delays, incorrect information regarding the amount of gold available, and subsequent refund dispute were not caused by me.

I did not leave negative feedback because of a disagreement over a minor amount of money. I left it because of the overall transaction experience and the repeated issues that occurred during the transaction.

7. Request for Review of the Negative Feedback

Based on the attached EpicNPC messages, Discord conversations, timestamps, and PayPal records, I respectfully ask that the negative feedback left on my account be reviewed in the full context of the transaction.

My feedback was based on the actual events that occurred and was not retaliatory.

In contrast, his negative feedback was posted after I left an honest negative review regarding my experience, which strongly suggests that his feedback was retaliatory.

The evidence should make the sequence of events clear:

He represented that 80M was available, told me he was ready to trade “now,” I paid, the delivery was repeatedly delayed, he later admitted he only had 35M, I requested a refund, he agreed to a “full refund,” the refund was less than the amount I originally paid, I left honest feedback about my experience, and he subsequently left negative feedback against me.

I respectfully ask that the evidence be reviewed based on the actual timeline and communications rather than simply treating both reviews as equivalent.

I believe the negative feedback against my account is unjustified and retaliatory, and I respectfully request that EpicNPC consider removing it based on the evidence provided.

Just something to consider:

Screenshot #2

We both agreed that the amount owed was $41.35 and that was total of 55M ,
41.35/0.76= 54M *OWED* rounded down.

Yet the new day he changed his mind and changed the agreed amount from 54M to 35M.

Attached the relative information below, this was interaction on my personal discord account. Which i stop interacting on after and use only my dedicated discord for buying/selling.

But as you can see he went from the "agreed" 55M to 35M, which brings his integrity into question about how he honors what he says.
