Scammer: xReign - Sold a stolen account that is now closed

So as you can see in this thread http://vbforums.mmobay.net/wow-usa-...-$80-mining-epic-flying-plus.html#post2361661, xReign was willing to go first giving the information which probably would have been a red flag, but I was just happy to be able to get the trade through at the time. The account has been ok for 4 days, but now it is closed by Blizzard saying I need to send in a notarized form to restore it. The other red flag I missed was he said he was the OO but his names on Steam/aim/mmobay/and the wow account were different. His aim is gold jesus if anyone is offered a trade from him. So he went first gave me all the necessary information and then he asked me to pay him the $80 in the form of steam games. This probably should have been another red flag but he just said he was a kid and didn't use paypal and just wanted new games. So I bought and gifted his steam account, GTA: 4, Global Agenda, and Gary's Mod. So my question is, can I report this to my credit card company and get those steam games refunded somehow? It really sucks to just blow $80 like that. His steam name is Black Snake Is High. Should I report anything to Steam about this to have them cancel his games and refund me? Thanks for your help!

xreign is a confirmed scammer. Easily caught using our http://vbforums.mmobay.net/mmobay-net-news-announcement/386342-account-review-service.html Hes been banned.

Maybe you can contact Valve/Steam directly and see if you can't void those gift codes first? Not sure what their policy is on gifts. But if that doesn't work yes, I would contact your CC company.
