I was looking around for ordering Gladiator for either the end of S7 or S8. I stumbled upon Vipers services and aimed him. Now after reviewing his feedback as well as threads I was under the assumption he was a legit trader.

Once talking to him on aim he was very friendly but very prideful of how he treated his customers. He would constantly refer to how well he treated people throwing in extra things or cutting prices down quite a bit lower than other arena services and give you links to rank 1 characters he "owns". He would really buy you into his service.

I had talked to 2 other friends and we all wanted glad, i told him we wanted gladiator for either S7 or S8 most likely S8. I went over the security portion and he stated all the people who play for him he has known for YEARS or are friends of friends he has known for years, some have played games with him forever etc.

I asked him if he wanted a down payment to save a spot for Gladiator. He told me I could send one if I wanted to. After being so comfortable with him and seeing his "ratings" I was pretty confident when I sent him a 170 dollar down payment.

Now the following day my girlfriend logged on my paypal, and claimed unauthorized payment. I do take responsibility for that. He contacted me first to ask me why I claimed unauthorized payment on paypal, which i was unaware of, he urged me to check my paypal and it was an opened case. I then talked to my girlfriend who told me she had thought our paypal had been compromised, again my fault for miss-communications about that. Of course my girlfriend was unhappy to find out I dropped 170 down and would not quit bitching. I told him I would like a refund of the 170 and later on if I went through with the service I would have absoluteley no problem sending it through western union.

Before I sent the payment he had told me if I wanted a refund all I had to do was ask him. And once the payment was claimed unauthorized he restated that all I needed to do was ask for a refund and I would have gotten it. So I then tell him that I would like the refund and could just western union the money if I decided to continue on with the package.

I then told him I would cancel the unauthorized transaction or he could just choose "refund money" and it would close the claim and everything would be good. Well that was not good enough for him. He said I had tarnished his rep with paypal and that because it was opened if he refunded me my money either though the opened case option or otherwise it would be him "consenting" to stealing something he did not do.

So I in turn tell him I will call paypal and ask her if it would do anything to his paypal account. I get on the phone and she tells me that no, if he chooses refund money it will close the case and it doesnt look like he stole the money. And that if i cancelled it and he immediately refunded me it also wouldnt look like he admitted to stealing it.

Of course this was not good enough for him. He had to talk to paypal because he was sure it would affect his paypal account.

After this it went into the "Under review by Paypal" and I could no longer cancel nor could he refund. All because he had a ego complex. So paypal decided in his favor, which I was not surprised since the payment and unauthorized claim were made from the same computer.

So now that the case is finally closed I aim him and ask if he would not mind refunding me my money now.

Well, as you can guess he couldnt do that.

Apparently if he refunded me my money it would be him "admitting" to "stealing" my money, which he of course did not do. I have no idea how that is a logical reason but never the less he refused to refund me cus he wouldn't "admit" to being a "thief".

So i tell him just refund me 150, keep some for your troubles. Or if he did not have the funds at the moment he could pay me when they became available. Well of course he refused to pay me cash back, even when he said he would refund me if i asked before and after i sent the down payment.

He then begins to tell me hes "busy with business" and cannot talk to me. He leads me on telling me he will only need 1 hour to talk to his team, 1 hour becomes 2 hours which then becomes 3 hours.

I insist that this is a serious issue and 170 bucks is alot to just be blown off about. He keeps avoiding me and making excuses saying "sorry, nothing I can do" etc etc

Eventually he budges after me aiming him for 3hours straight and says he will never refund me the cash but will give me a service worth the 170.

At this point I have nothing else to gain, I knew he would kill over before he refunded me my cash, even though he told me he would before and after the paypal incident happened.

So eventually I just went ahead and agreed to a 1800 job on 2 toons for the amount of 170 that was sent to him.

Now after seeing all of these threads posting the same things I experienced I know my rating will not be obtained and he would put my account security at risk, since multiple employees of his have admitted to him doing no screening which HE FALSELY CLAIMS ON HIS ADs.

Just as the one scammer post where there was INDISPUTABLE evidence that he offered a guy 50 bucks for playing games, and the he somehow pulled 35 and 45 bucks out of his [censored] shows the man cannot even acknowledge plain evidence disputing his claims. I was told I would recieve a refund if I asked yet I was told either take a rating service that he thought was worth the 170 or lose my money. per quote "leave it or take it"

This man should not be allowed to do business on this site, his positive ratings are misleading and his arena service is a joke. HE FALSELY misleads you into thinking u can trust him and his positive ratings for simple transactions NOT ARENA services are misleading.

He will tell you one thing then turn around and bend it/twist it, turn it in his favor, he cares NOTHING for anyone but himself.

HE IS A CROOK. "plain and simple"
 
This customers girl friend logs on his paypal and opens up a unauthorized transaction because he did not tell her the money was for a service. HE apologized and put it back.

We had a deal that when after he got his toon to 80 that next season for 2 toons i would provide a 1800 rating and give him weeklies for that team.

Again,,no scam...
 
When the unauthorized payment was initiated the first thing you aimed me and quote

"Why the unauthorized payment claim Mike? I would have refunded you if you had just asked"

And once the paypal issue was done he refused to refund me because he would be refunding money that he "stole" and he would not admit to "stealing" since he did not do it.
 
It was not a agreement it was an ultimatum.

You refused to talk to me making me wait hours cus you were "busy"

Then you told me I would never get the money back and that I could either take an arena rating or nothing

That is an ultimatum. Take rating or get nothing. Exactly what you told me.
 
Mike, although you were backed into a corner, if you agreed to having this service done then Viper DOES have the option to compensate you with that service. However, he has to do so in the time period he agreed upon for it to be a valid form of compensation.
 
If he can show proof that I agreed and within a time frame is one thing.

But on his website he claims he screens and has security checks for his players, but yet there are people here who he has admitted to letting them work for him and they have stated he did not security checks and just gave out account info very easily.

His website falsely claims your account is secure yet it has been proven by his workers it is extremely unsafe therefore I have to worry about my accounts being compromised, when he told me and everyone else we can count on security but there is proof that he falsely advertised that "security".

That isn't really relevant to this situation, sure its very dishonest, but until it actually causes a problem its not really of concern.
 
The initial agreement was glad and 2 other seperate toons 1800. That was the first agreement and after the paypal incident he would not go with the original agreement, so the agreement was broken. That is when he said he would refund me, and then would not and gave me an ultimatum of no money or a lower/smaller team rating.

So the first agreement was broken by him, after which I was forced to agree to his terms once my money was in his possession.

You forgot to put the beginning to it there "bud"

What i posted was how it originally went down, before I was basically forced to take his ultimatum.

With him continually telling me take the rating or leave it bud

When it SHOWS the very FIRST thing was him AGREEING to refund me.
 
Alright, I personally feel that Mike, since you offered this form of compensation, you should honor it. The same would be expected from the opposing party.

I majorly need to speak to him about similar issues also. Viper is a good man and I am confident he will be on to resolve peoples issues GBS including my own, which, I don't feel the need to post a thread about at the time being.

He never logged on once last night. Woke up a few minutes ago and checked aim.

He logged on for 12 seconds then logged back off, he has offline IMs as well so he should of known when logging on to answer people.

VMMOSsupport signed on at 10:14:45 AM.
VMMOSsupport signed off at 10:14:57 AM.
vmmossupport is offline and will receive your IMs when signing back in.

I also wanted to add I will not be home till 11pm tonight or later. As I have work and school, so if he does get on and responds to others, you know where I am and he cannot say I am not responding

I spoke to him on his phone on his old aim and he plans to make it on later tonight. There are a lot of threads regarding the same issue so its only fair he's given a period of time to address each and every case individually, including my own.

I speak to Viper a lot on vent sometimes and I believe he's a decent guy with good interests who genuinely cares about customers and friends. There are several cases here that NEED to be addressed ASAP and I fully understand that and have relayed that message to him. I expect to see him online later tonight but he told me he was out of town until then.

Even if he is out of town, it would seem extremely convenient since he was on here the night all the scam posts happened and then once he was told to fix these things he went MIA and did not tell any of the admins he was going "out of town".

And that still doesn't make sense of him logging on and off after a few seconds. He obviously has access to a computer if he did indeed log on and back off. And he blocked a guy on AIM that has a scam post on him right now.

We will see tonight I guess.
