2 days ago, someone messaged me on discord, interested in buying my account. Their name was Koia, with the tag Koia#4462.
I was new to epicnpc, hence not very knowledgeable about its MM system. Not only that, I was desperate to sell my account as I lost interest in it.
Koia offered to use a middleman system and told me that they sent the request for MM already, and that I should be contacted by said middleman to complete the transaction. I was stupid enough and didn't do any research beforehand, coupled with the desperation of letting go of the account, I went ahead and sent the account's details.
For the next 20 minutes, I didn't receive any notifications from Paypal regarding any transferred money. That was when I realized that I might have been "tricked", and lo and behold, when I searched up google, Koia's name appeared on a post here, saying that Koia attempted to scam someone but failed.
So I lost an account that I spent years and money on to.

Details:
- Email used to spoof: [email protected]
- (Last seen) Battle.net: Daddy#18638
- (Last seen) Steam: Afghanichan
- (Last seen) Xbox: K0IA / K01A
With the last three I saw on their discord profile.
- Instagram: ayanisun (as of 26/01/2021)

*Edit: I saw them trying to re-sell my account on said instagram, and someone messaged me about it.
I know that I am at fault for not doing any research beforehand. Thank you for looking at this thread.

In the first place, it was already against the game’s ToS to engage in transactions involving your accounts. I didn’t entertain the idea of trying to get it back, so I opted to have it banned instead. Although, thank you for your reply.
You could always claim that the account was hacked in the future if you decide to sell another account.
