I've had two accounts, one that I've sold for $350 and one in the process of selling currently.
I've come across TONS of people who add me on MSN, AIM, PM me and so on.. with horrible English and grammar usage. I know not everyone on here can speak amazing English (myself included), but I just don't think it makes it easier on trusting people. Everytime I come up against someone who messages me saying "Hey, u sell wow acc ?", I cannot trust them. The sterotypical scammer that I've seen will put and space before question marks, which immediately strays me away from being serious about the sale, not to mention the constant usage of "u" and "acc" instead of "you" and "account".
When I see this, I play along, and have gotten up to 3 paypal "verified" user accounts from the scammer. I promptly shoot a mail to the registered email on this account telling them to change their information because they have been ripped off, or will be.

How can you trust someone from China or wherever if they act exactly the same as a scammer. Maybe I've been too quick to judge on peoples' English and grammar usage, but I believe there is no other way to tell until you get into the specifics.
Ask suspected scammers to shoot you a mail from their registered email on the site where you're getting your money from. If they won't do this for you, there is obviously something extremely fishy about the whole deal and it should be discontinued.
Does anyone know any other ways to tell if someone is actually a scammer? If so, I think it would be a good idea to post them so we do not see as many poor people being scammed out of their money right and left.
(It IS really fun confusing scammers though, so go right ahead and do some good by helping people out and telling them about their ripped off paypal / other accounts
