I am a D2R player and I have some forum golds that were worthless to me as I have pretty much everything I need in D2R so I said to myself ''Why not sell them?''. I decided to search around for a site like this and I found this forum. I made a thread for my sale and the link below takes you there :

I noticed that I didn't get any attention in the first two days. Today, someone named ''iExcelsior'' pmed me asking for my discord & skype informations. I thought, he is ready to grab some of my forum golds so I gave him my discord informations.
10 minutes later after this, I received a friend request in discord from a guy named ''DeMiUrG#0007''. This guy is trying to impersonate LEGIT people and this is where the story begins.
First of all, this is not a blacklisting but a warning. If you wanna risk doing business with any of these guys, you are on your own. I am just here because I felt like this guy is trying to trick me and I can say that he was very close to get me.
So first thing he did was to ensure that he let me know that he will not go first NO MATTER what. To do this, he used a link of a thread from a guy in epicnpc.com named ''citygamer''. This guy has a bunch of positive feedbacks and hasn't logged a quite a bit in this site.

Once he ensured that I have to go first through this trade then he sent me the link of the thread the OP (Original Poster) claiming that he has a ton of positive feedbacks and he can't risk 'em all just for a little bit of profit.
I was like to myself ''Okay... you have done this so many times in other MMO's, what could go wrong with this one? You have all the knowledge to avoid a scam".
First thing, I did was to learn more things about the trade: 1. Who is this guy and what is he doing instead of the guy who sent me the message in this forum? 2. Why is he doing that? 3. How is this deal gonna work? 4. Which methods of paying he using? and stuff like these, you know...
All I wanted was to be sure somehow that the guy named ''citygamer'' in this forum was that guy named ''DeMiUrG#0007". The simpliest way for that was to take a screenshot of his discord app showing me his Username#xxxx and send that screenshot to me in here, otherwise I wouldn't feel safe trading with someone who just talked me in discord because I have seen a ton of impersonating happening around these days in every MMO. Guess what? He denied to send me a message in here. The reason? Check yourself:

Well, I was like ''Ok let me check your thread because I didn't". At first place, everything seemed cool but reading his thread I noticed that except from the discord usernamed#xxxx, the original poster pointed out his discord's ID. When I asked this guy in discord about ID, he replied to me like this:
... but you know what? Deep inside me, I knew this was a fraud because nothing seemed LEGIT. A guy (the FG buyer) pmed me in epicnpc, then another guy pms me discord representing (the FG supplier), then the supplier denies to log in his epicnpc account and then denies to show me how to check the discord ID. My question was ''Why the FG buyer don't haggle with me instead of him?"
Anywaysssssss, we are at the point where he denies to show me how to check the ID.... As I said in my thread, I am playing other MMORPGs. In the discord channel of another MMO other than Diablo2, there was a tutorial about finding out someone's discord ID and thanks to them I am safe till now.
Probably, giving more than enough informations but I do not care as this is a warning thread.
After doing this process the guy showed in that tutorial screenshot, I found out that the ID that original posted ''citygamer'' in this site and the fraud guy ''DeMiUrG#0007'' in discord were different.
Following the tutorial in the screenshot I dived deeper in that **** and I also found out that his account is 2 months old.
Of course, I was mad and I trash talked to this rat and guess what? He replied back. Why am I telling you this? Because if you scroll up a bit and check one of the screenshots where he says he doesn't have time to show me how to find the discord ID but later he had the time to reply to the insults.
Look @ this loser claiming he was polite with me for an hour... Like that's what all scammers do when it comes to scamming. They are patient until they get their victim..
