Making this post in hopes of saving someone else from getting scammed. Long story short I got in a conversation with Chickenone on discord, who goes by Gotže697#5525. We agreed upon a 2 time payment, $130 today and $100 next Wednesday. After sending him $130 for the first payment through Wise to his main email [email protected], he makes up an excuse about having problems with his Wise account and then proceeds to block me.
To confirm that who I was talking to on discord was Chickenone on EpicNPC, I gave him a secret password on discord, which was the word 'pineapple'. I asked him "what is the secret password on EpicNPC chat discord and he replied 'pineapple'. Now we know 100% who I was talking to was Chickenone. So be careful about this guy, I know he alot of good reviews but I got scammed $130 from this scumbag. Mods hope you are able to do something about this guy. I will attach screenshots below for reference.

@dbzoutplayed after review you were most likely contacted by an off site scammer impersonating @Chickenone. I have conflecting information regarding the safe word used, however since the transaction was not done on EpicNPC, there is no way of knowing for sure who you were talking to on Discord. The Discords used are not the same, and there is not an active listings for the account in question. Payment and contact information does not match. In the future I would recommend keeping transactions on site so you know exactly who you are dealing with to avoid impersonations, and use our MM service for protection.

Keep in mind, EpicNPC no longer reviews disputes if one of these three Trade Guardian options is not used. There will be 2 types of disputes that can be opened.

1. Trade Guardian dispute - If TG was used, we will fully investigate as normal.
2. Scam Review - If TG was not used, only an account review will be conducted on the accused's account. We will check if they're a known scammer, previously banned member or have been accused of scams on other sites, ect… They will then either be banned or not. An investigation into the dispute will not be conducted.
