What is the dispute about? We came to an agreement on the purchase price, the method of delivery for the in-game item, and payment method. Once the seller confirmed that he received payment, he ghosted me.
Other details / notes: The individual UOOUTLANDSHIGHEND contacted me regarding my posting and offered to sell me 300k gold in New World for $550. He provided his discord information as OutlandsHiGhEnd#5487. I saw that this person was brand new to this site with zero reputation. This person stated, and I quote, "I've only done 4 deals here with 4 different people." None of these people left reputation.
I let this person know I was comfortable doing the trade if we did it in the following order: Break the trade in half. He trades half the gold first, then I send first half of payment. I then send second half of payment and he trade the rest of the gold. This was purely because he had zero rep on this site.
He would not do this. He sent screenshots from other games he was a seller for. I was satisfied enough. We agreed that we would do the trade in the following manner: I would send him half of the total payment ($275) and he would give me half of the gold. We would meet in game for the trade / sale of an item for the first half.
As soon as he confirmed he received payment he went offline at 12:41 PM EST on 20211122 and came back online at 12:57 PM EST the same day and asked if I was a game master and that he was going to refund this transaction. I never received a refund, this was a lie.
Please let me know if you need anything else clarified.
