Scammed by mesz

Hi, just writing to tell you that I've bought a battle.net account from user
"mesz" yesterday and today he reported it compromised in a support-ticket.
The diablo 3 account on the Bnet-account have already been closed by
Blizzard as a result, and though I can still access the Bnet account atm,
the official response to his ticket makes it clear that he can claim it back anytime
by sending them a mail with his ID.

After I noticed the scam I searched his name on this site and found that another player was also scammed by him today: (http://www.epicnpc.com/star-wars-ol...64-origin-account-swtor-50-juggernaut-al.html)

Please ban the thief.

I would also like to see the ticket that the buyer is talking about.

I would be more than happy to provide anything needed by me. Could i also request when this has been resolved my account be closed on these forums as i am happy with the buyers i have met so far.

Please advise me any proof you need from myself and i have also left a note on the buyers feedback for me requesting he remove his fake report of the account claim back else i will be forced to start that procedure and refund the small amount that was paid for it. It is worrying how far people go for the sake of $29.....

My proof

I've taken 15 screenshots that shows the original trade thread, his response to my PM, the following skype-conversation, the paypal transaction and the battle.net-tickets. (plural, because he also called them about an hour ago).

The screenshots speak for themselves, and lead to eachother (his response to my PM leads to the skype-conversation, that leads to the paypal transaction. The battle.net-tickets leads back to the email he uses for contact in the PM). So to be honest, I dont get why he plays innocent in this thread.

ok i have viewed all yoru pics and i see one problem here. The email address you have added to the ticket !!!! You have added it as [email protected] that is my skype email however the email on the account is and always was [email protected] ( as seen in trade pics ). Nice try but next time you will want to take more care.

On a second note if you wanted a refund you could have just asked me and saved a lot of hastle. I will call blizzard later and have the account changed back to myself and my true email. When this is complete ( and only when this is complete. ) I will issue a refund, If you have any further reason to contact me please do so through here and not skype or email as i would like a paper trail. ty

also in one email it says resolve at the time -13:59 21/07/2012 and you have another ticket saying resolve today ??? about an hour ago ( 12:08 22/07/2012 )

To be honest i have asked for my account to be closed on here anyways so i am not to bothered but i still would like to warn others about trading with this person. ty
 
i was also scammed by mesz - happy to provide proof

i have had the SWTOR accoutn banned though, so at least he can't have the money and the account

Seriously mesz, I'm actually surprised you dont own up to what you've done. You've already recieved payment from me (and apparently also that other guy) and it seems clear from what you write here, that you dont care about your epicnpc-account, so why the act?.

That you instead hint that I've manipulated the picture of the first ticket with absolutely identical font size and color, just to miss the (obvious) space between the mail and the "I", and all for the sake of 29£ is just sad.

Are you starting to believe your own lie, or are you just the kind of person who enjoys to argue a case however ridiculous it might be?

As an update to the admin following this thread, I can tell that after I returned home from work this evening, I cannot log in to the battle.net account anymore. So it's back on his hands.

Oh, and concerning ticket number two. Do you suggest that I called the customer service from Denmark, claiming to be Mr. Michael Hicks from the UK with a fake british accent, mesz? Most of all it makes me furious that you have the nerve to warn other people about trading with me as a final remark to your post.
 
dg4 and ragout are not the same person

ragout buys WoW account from Mesz
next day it is reported compromised
2nd day call is placed and account is recalled

I see no evidence any of the screenshots are fake or have been edited

Mesz must refund ragout.


dg4, I suggest you open your own thread and provide the proof you have.

It is not a case of caring about my account, Yes i have said that the account can be closed as i no longer would like to sell/trade. this is because i join the forums to trade on a few items and did, I just regret that it was to someone like you. As for the warning you have the nerve to go through all of this and you think i have a cheek ?? come on are you an adult or not ?

I have stated plenty of times that i would have and still will be happy to issue you a refund but only after the account is back in my control. I see no reason to waste more time exchanging comments and insults with you as you clearly have no intention of wanted to sort anything out you just want to point fingers and rage like in the emails you keep sending me.

So i will reply to any admin post i see but i will not carry on this convo like this if you decide to grow up a little and actually try to resolve your issue with a mature attitude i will be more than willing to help you.

Considering I haven't been able to log in to the battle.net account since I returned from work, the account must allready be back in your control, and free for you to edit in any way you like.

Oh, and I think I might have figured out why you're stalling this instead of just admitting the scam and flipping me the bird. You still have some trade-threads up that might trick more naive people such as myself into sending money your way. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but perhaps the admin should keep an eye on those aswell.

Not sure how many times i have said after dealing with some like you i have started trading else where as i do not trust these forums and please don't push me i have been more than nice to you even though you seem to be good at what your doing.

ban this account please, Just had a message from paypal saying they have had a report of an imposter using someones paypal account and are freezing some money till sorted. I think i have sorted it out already as i screen shot all my sales. However this site has becoem a complete joke and i will not let these coning little kids win. I WILL NOT BE BACK. good bye.

and as for Ragout **** you you coning little ****. hope you enjoy your junk emails like i owe you that one.

1. Why do you post that in this thread - that has nothing to do with me. There's another scam-thread up concerning you in which this paypal-dispute probably belong in.

2. You still haven't refunded anything to me, and I know by heart you wont. The fact that you joined this site just a week ago, and already have scammed several people shows you're here for just one thing: to scam. I hate myself for not doing a ground-check on you before I send you cash.

Mesz, ragout is claiming the account was taken from him, so how is he supposed to give you the account back?

I see no secret q/a, CD keys or ID was given, so how Mesz please explain how ragout is suppose to recall this account? Are you also saying you do not have the ability to recall an account you sold? If not, you should never have sold this account.

Mesz you have 24 hrs to recall the account yourself or refund Ragout or you will be banned as a scammer.

I didnt say that i could not recall it at all, I said that they require a passport that i will have to get from a family members house this week. I did that Yesterday and emailed it to them so i should get a reply today.

What i also said was that i don't beleive the account was recalled to start with but when i have it fully back i will refund him but i will not be in a situation where the buyer has both his money back and control of the account.

As for banning me **** me please do it i have asked enough times. The buyers on here are a ****ing joke and i thought the admin were ok till you dropped your dummy and went on hissy fit.

Mesz, my point is that you only gave him the login info and secret q/a. That isn't much. Even IF ragout was trying to scam, which I don't believe he is, all you need to do is recover the account or give him all the info so he can recover it himself.
 
Thanks admin. Concerning a refund I've still received none. Dont think this guy is gonna give me anything (especially as it seems that I'm not the only one he's been scamming in the few days he's been a member on this site).
