What is the dispute about? A world of warcraft account

Was a middleman used? Nope
Provide information about the dispute and what lead to it: Basically I went into this pretty sure this was a scam so I'm not terribly shocked or appalled that it was, dude wanted payment via amazon credits or skrill and the account was very underpriced for what he claimed it to be. I eventually went through with it cos, credit to the guy, he's put the time in to make everything but those factors fairly convincing. And it's not a massive amount of money either way.
So what went down was I pm'd him on the site expressing interest in his offer, after which he added me on skype. We talked for a bit and I eventually decided to try and buy the account. I sent the payment via the amazon credit, dude went silent for several hours after which he came back and asked why one of the gift codes didn't work. I noticed I had mistyped a letter, told him and then he proceeded to log off (obviously) not to return. Again, this is a pretty obvious scammer and mostly just my own naive brain's fault for falling for it so I'm not posting here trying to justify anything, more just as a warning for anyone else
Other details / notes: Googling around it seems he's been around on several forums, including a foreign one where from what I understand he's been accused of scamming once again (http://www.oyunhub.com/topic/77294-husobaba1903-dolandiricidir/#entry653925)

Did you do any background searching before the transaction? Yeah a bit, unfortunately I did most of the background searching after I'd finished the actual trade lol.
Have you traded with this person before? I haven't
Approximately how many transactions have you done on EpicNPC? I forget, probably over 10? Been a member for a while, it's probably added up over the years.
Again hopefully this'll just serve to get him off this site for a bit and make people aware of him, obviously not expecting a refund or anything, I was being an idiot and that's on me.
