scammed almost i think...have a question

selling an account and someone msg me and right away said they would take it and asked for my email to send the money i gave it to them. few secs later the money was sent to my account then it got weird....

so i ask the guy to speak on phone he said no sorry....then i ask for the name the money would be comming from and it didnt match the name the money did infact already come from...i asked them and then they said it was their cousins account....then they told me they were japanese...at this point i freaked out and issued a refund. my question is this....

Can this somehow come back to bite me in anyway even tho i issued a full refund to the persons account?

The PayPal account that you received the funds from was likely hacked into. Probably someone from Asia hacked into a US PayPal(Likely).
So at this point. They know that the PayPal account isn't there's, and likely to be recovered at any time. They take advantage of the fund(s), funding source(s) to make instant untrackable purchases.

AKA Virtual Items
That's why there's no hesitation to send money, because it's not there's. It's like riding your friends bike, you're going to be less careful to scratch it, because it's not yours. In the end. The hacker gets away with your account, by spending someone elses money. You lose out on your account, and you've eventually got to refund the money once PayPal figures out that the true owner of the PayPal account didn't send you the funds.</span></span></span>

*Don't deal with someone who can't complete a sentence.
*Don't deal with someone who's unwilling to furnish contact information.
*Don't deal with someone who's willing to hand over 100s of $$ with ease.
*Don't deal with someone who furnishes info through IM, Email, PMs, etc...that doesn't match where the funds come from.
